Overall the property is in a good location, easily accessible and walking distance to the metro and great restaurants! A bit loud during the weekdays due to the daycare ran in the unit above but during the weekend was pretty calm. Quick response and happy to accommodate of what we ask. Good value and I would stay there again!
The apartment was just as advertised. We liked its charm and the quirks of staying in a cute little row house. We got metro/bus passes and enjoyed getting to know DC as locals. We walked 5-8 min to the NoMa Metro stop on the Red line every morning, took the metro and bus everywhere we wanted to go and walked back home from the Metro station each night. (There was a bus stop right by the apartment but we just walked.) We could hear the first day care kids arrive in the morning and thought it was cute. We could occasionally hear footsteps from upstairs after we went to bed but it was minimal, just what you expect from having upstairs neighbors. The master bedroom had a little walk-in closet with extra towels, sheets, blankets and baby gear. There was even an umbrella. The bathrooms were clean and had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The living room couch pulled out into a bed and the second bedroom was also great. We had 2 adults and 2 teens and the space worked well for us. We didnât cook in the kitchen but we appreciated the washer and dryer and filtered water. We picked up food items from the Trader Joeâs on the way back from the metro and had an Amazon delivery sent to the 7-11Amazon lockers, also on the way from the metro. It was a great location and a good price. Weâd stay there again if we came to explore DC.
