room was not ready and so i was offered a lower tier room that smelled really bad. I left and then was offered the correct room but was told i may be kicked out the next night and that the room i paid for was not available for the 2 nights i booked. The room amenities boxes were present but empty?? for a "luxury" hotel this was far from luxury

This was my first stay at a Kimpton and it will be my last. No coffee service in the guest room is a deal breaker and they should be honest about the lack of this amenity upon booking. Coffee Service in the lobby beginning at 6:30am is just not good enough. I am up earlier than this and want it in my room. Plenty of other hotels to choose from - I just wish I had known.

Very nice hotel, seems like it was recently renovated. The street side is a bit loud early in the morning due to traffic noise but nothing ear plugs won’t fix. Shame rooftop bar closed during the stay but downstairs bar is quite nice also, esp the outside area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing location and great value for money. Our two queen beds bedroom was very spacious to accommodate the three of us. Will be back.
