This was a vacation we originally planned in 2020 in the same area, but had to cancel due to COVID. The location and amenities were just what we looked for and we were not disappointed. It was close to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks and also numerous state parks. There also were golf courses nearby too.
Our week-long stay at this house in Washington, Utah, was absolutely delightful! With five bedrooms, it was spacious enough for our party of four, allowing us to enjoy both togetherness and privacy. The home itself is modern, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The host was phenomenalâattentive and always available to assist us whenever we needed anything. Their hospitality truly enhanced our experience. We loved every minute of our stay and canât wait to return in the future! I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base for exploring St. George and the surrounding areas. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
We really enjoyed our stay. Our host was great at communicating. The pool was great and we would love to stay there again. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking. Easy access and close to everywhere we wanted to go!
Stayed here for my dads 70th birthday. We had 14 people in the house and we loved the location and pool. The house was nice but we had major problems with the AC unit. We contacted Red Sands a few hours after our arrival and 24 hours later we were finally able to get someone out to look at it. One rule that I didn't find out about until we arrived, was that you are not supposed to adjust the thermostat. I totally understand locking it to not go below a certain level but we weren't allowed to touch it. The upstairs was freezing and the downstairs was too hot. The upstairs would get so cold the heater would kick on when its 100 outside. The unit has a thermostat on each level but you can only use one of them as there is only one system per HVAC guy. Even after he came out it still was never comfortable in either part of the house and for that reason we would not come back. We were rounding up blankets for those upstairs and those downstairs just had to be a little too hot. I did not like the MANY forms of communication-text from multiple numbers and MANY emails. It became so confusing to keep track of their posted and emailed rules which also were conflicting. They communicated many fees if you didn't follow their rules and I would have rather had one form of communication. One rule was no shoes in the house-great we do the same at our house, but the upstairs carpet was gross and desperately needs cleaned. The plastic shower curtains were gross and many lightbulbs were out.
Weâve always enjoyed the homes we stay in when booking through VRBO. This home was an exception. No window coverings on the main floor in the dining room and living room area, cheap bed sheets, and large ugly red stains on the carpets. When we arrived, the upstairs heater wouldnât turn off and the downstairs wouldnât turn on. We had to contact the rental agency daily to get this resolved. They were kind in trying to help us, but Iâm not sure they believed we were having a problem until our last day of stay when we showed them photos of the thermostat. The rental agency was understanding and worked out a small refund which we appreciated. The stay was quite uncomfortable. Having said that, the water park was amazing. Overall, this home has great potential, but efforts to make the home a GREAT experience are lacking.
This house was perfect for our girlfriends week. Lots of beds and bathrooms. Easy walk to the pool. The only issues were: 1. AC was not working at first. But someone came out and fixed it as soon as we called. 2. There were no wine glasses or cork screw. This was disappointing to us since we like our wine!
Not only was the home beautiful and clean but it was well stocked! Every room was clean and beyond our expectations. I would definitely stay there again.
This property was perfect for our sister's weekend. Kitchen was a good size for many cooks, plenty of chairs at the dinning room table and room to do a puzzle in the living room. Great location to enjoy a show at Tuachan Amphitheater, explore St. George and Zion National Park.
Red Sands was good at communicating with us. Unfortunately their communication was in multiple forms. We got text messages, emails and the tablet in the home. The problems arose when each format had more or less information than one of the other formats. Email once the parties arrive is probably not the best as we are on vacation and emails are the last thing that people are going to access.
We enjoyed a fun filled weekend with our extended family in this home. We were pleasantly surprised to find a pack and play for the baby and the older kids enjoyed the Xbox and foosball. The massage chair was also well used!
The kitchen needed more serving bowls , I think there were only 2 larger style bowls. We also could have used some extra blankets. It was warmer than home but still chilly at night.
There was plenty of overflow parking for our toys and extra cars and the location made it easy to get out and have fun. We would stay here again!
