Our family loved our stay at The Piedmont on Alfred! The house was clean, easy arrival and departure and hosts were responsive to any questions we had. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of seating for our family of 6. We especially loved the location and easy walkability to Old Town and Metro stops. Of course, the house is very charming!
The property was extremely clean, and we had everything we needed. Any small issue we had was quickly addressed and solved, and the owners were extremely communicative and helpful. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone!
The home itself is lovely and feel historic. The fireplaces in each of the main bedrooms and living rooms is a wonderful asset. The home itself is a quick walk from main street.
Truly lovely home, very walkable to Old Town Alexandria and convenient garage parking. Beautifully decorated. We used as a family Ladies Night post holiday retreat and it was perfect. Hosts were impressively responsive.
We enjoyed our stay and everything was as advertised. The location is fantastic within close proximity to everything. The area was easy to navigate in our car as well. The first night, we parked in a lot down the street. The second night, we risked it and left our car on the street. No ticket! There was always parking available in front of the house and there are several lots nearby that are easy as well. The owners were very communicative and made the check-in/out process really easy. Unfortunately, our daughter left her Kindle in her room. The owners were really helpful in coordinating with the cleaning crew to ship this to our home. Very appreciative of the great and friendly service. Old Town is beautiful and we wouldnât hesitate to stay here again.
Hosts were responsive and very helpful!Overall the house was beautiful and well keptKitchen had all the necessary appliances, pretty much all the utinsils and pans you could need for a short stay and a coffee/tea station!Area is beautiful and a quick walk to shops, restaurants, etc!
This home could not have been any better! Spent a long weekend with 6 others visiting DC & Alexandria. We used all the bedrooms so can attest to the comfort of the beds. Nice quality linens and plentiful towels. Rooms were large enough for seating and conversation groups. The highlight for this group was gathering in the private courtyard for coffee and breakfast. Home was very clean with nice amenities. Location is prime - just a few minutes (less than 2 blocks) to King Street and dining/shopping. Very easy - 10 minute - walk to Metro station. Safe neighborhood, pretty, and made to feel at home. Do yourself a favor and book this home when visiting DC area.
The location is ideal for walkable living. We really enjoyed our extended stay at this home in Alexandria. The hosts were very helpful with information about the area too.
This home was such a treat! The neighborhood is idyllic, and the home itself was lovely. There are lots of stairs, so if youâre traveling with anyone with mobility issues, it might be challenging. The beds were very comfortable and the common spaces were perfect for family time.
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. We enjoyed the historic charm and beautifully decorated interior. The house was also comfortable for 7 adults and had a well equipped kitchen. The proximity to restaurants, coffee shops and stores was a great bonus
The house was a great location/home base for our DC trip. Alexandria is a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Owners provided helpful tips and information about the area and were very responsive.
We loved this property. Great location, clean, roomy, well-appointed. Hosts were wonderful to deal with. Would highly recommend it for an Alexandria visit.
Last minute impromptu sightseeing trip to DC with my two college-age sons. Gorgeous, historical home that matched the theme of the trip. Close to DC and enjoyed walking old town Alexandria in the evenings. We had a wonderful time.Would definitely book again.
My husband and I, our daughter and son-in-law, and their two children (2 1/2 and 5 1/2) spent a wonderful week in this lovely home. Location was perfect, just a short walk to King Street and all the fabulous shops and restaurants there. Took the train into DC as needed, an easy commute. The home was spacious, with 4 generous sized bedrooms (we only needed 3!). Kitchen was well equipped and we never ran out of clean towels, etc. Our hosts were very responsive to all questions and helped us navigate parking. Highly recommend this listing!
Great location. Home is historic so you won't be sneaking out the front door without some creaking floors (important to note if you will be traveling with kids). We found Parking fairly easily within 2 blocks of the house. We had 4 of us for a ladies weekend and loved every minute of it... Highly recommend this property.
Our family used this beautiful historic home as a home base during for our family memberâs Arlington funeral. It is so convenient to everything in Alexandria and super easy to access Reagan airport for family. Thank you for a perfect spot.
We had a fantastic experience at this VRBO rental! Having enough space and amenities for 7 adults was definitely a win, and the convenient location within walking distance to everything made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were responsive and communicated wellâit really made a difference in ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
We had an amazing time staying in this home! It was very clean and nicely decorated. We were on a family trip, and it was special to stay in a place with so much history. Another thing we really enjoyed is being able to use the wood burning fireplaces! We will definitely be coming back!
