The apartment was clean; had everything we needed and kitchen was complete with all the items needed. The location was great. Walking distance to many places to see and close by restaurants to dine in. Parking was extra. The person in charge was in contact with us to make sure we checked in ok and everything was well or if we needed anything, which was helpful. We will definitely book again with Pelican residencies. Great experience!

Not as clean as it should be, pillowcases had makup on them in one of the rooms and the fans in the bathrooms had dust and fuzz all over. Also no cable or direct tv. Overall its a great location.

Perfect Location

We love this location! It has great access to the Mall, museums and federal buildings, as well as many super restaurants. The apartment is sparkling clean and features wonderful bathrooms and a comfortable king-sized bed.

First comment has to be about the location, it truly can't be beat. The hosts were attentive both before and during the stay, check in process was seamless, and the front desk personnel were excellent. Would definitely stay again!

Location, location, location!

This location worked out so well for my family, I can’t say it enough. We easily utilized DC Metro, (4) train stations w/in minutes; tooled around the Mall with Lime scooters/bikes and feet; only used ride share (Uber) a couple of times, because of the record heat/humidity during our stay. The building is obviously in process of some construction, but it was still relatively quiet and clean; property managers (of the building) were all very professional and helpful. The owner of the unit contact was not quick to respond, and ultimately never followed through on our request, but this was not a deal breaker; for high-end cost, would have expected better appointments to utilize the kitchen, and unit appliances; one dishwasher pod, no laundry detergent/dryer sheets; we stayed a week, and had to buy so we could wash the one set of (4) bath towels. Again, our experience, and the location, far overshadow the cons, but we WERE paying a premium. We wouldn’t hesitate to return, or recommend, and all told it was a wonderful week in DC! Thank you!

Beware!

We actually stayed only 1 hour in the apartment, enough time to find other lodgings. Here's why: The lobby was under construction, wires hanging down from the unpainted ceiling. It took nearly 10 minutes to find the apartment, following an endless walk through dimly lit, empty corridors. Once inside, we noted the dirty carpet, stained wall, torn sofa, and general dinginess of the place. While it's true that there were a few restaurants a five minute walk from the building, it actually faced another building that was boarded up. Down the block, it looked like a drug deal was in progress. We called Pelican to complain about the misleading description of the apartment and ask for at least some refund, as we were not going to stay even one night. This has been "under consideration" since our return home. Several calls to Pelican have yielded only "We'll get back to you," but they never do. Instead, They unfairly reviewed Us. (We have not been given access to this review and wonder what it could have been based on since we left shortly after our arrival.) We've basically given up and taken the loss of our multi-thousand dollar payment.

Great place

Excellent location, we walked everywhere. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The building is very safe and the coffee downstairs is a really nice touch. The only (tiny) complaint was around the pillows, they were all a bit too hard for us. Even with that, we would definitely stay again.

Great location

Loved being within walking distance to so many of the National Monuments, museums, the capitol, the white house, etc. Place was clean and everything worked well, including the washer and dryer. It is sparsely decorated with only one or two things hanging on the walls and that's about it. Comfy beds, but when we called to ask for an additional blanket they told us they didn't have any more. Overall a decent place to stay.

Great location and amenities!

Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Apartment was clean, updated and check in was a breeze. Kids especially loved the coffee/hot chocolate bar in the lobby and the indoor pool. Close to National Mall, Archives and restaurants. Would stay again!
