The person checking me in this night was extremely rude. He was the only one at the desk. He had some sort of problem with another guest and was on the phone and kept leaving the check in counter and returning. Each time offering the most insincere apology that he could muster. Waited 15 minutes to check in and there were 2 other people behind me experiencing the same conduct. Never offered any directions or recommendations for dining. Basically just brushed me aside. Terrible experience

A pleasant room and a helpful staff

Our room was lovely, spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light. The two toilets and the extra sink made our stay more comfortable than expected. The bath was nice as well, though water pressure was quite low. Special thanks to Ronaldo who helped with a very much needed late check-out!

Beautiful spot in the heart town, great restaurant

We had a very nice time at this location. It's not in the prettiest area (our views were of an abandoned parking lot) but the overall location in Waterton was breathtaking. We unfortunately had an issue staying our second night (we'd lost items at a hotel from earlier in the trip and had to rearrange to go back and get them). I know it's not the hotel's policy to credit a cancellation that close to check-out but we had 2 rooms and I'd hoped they would have made an exception. They were not--and the manager wasn't able to speak with me (other than a 7am-8am window which I wasn't available for). I appreciated the staff, the restaurant was exceptional (!!), we loved staying in this town and just wished we had more time there. I do love the Prince of Wales hotel and we would have stayed there if we could have. That said, when it is sold out, this is a lovely second choice. We did stay in the "romantic rooms" which had a tub in the bedroom area. Although it didn't work for my husband and myself (we have 2 small kids) we did take 2 rooms based on their 2 person per room policy and each stayed with one of our kids for the night.

Great stay -- room was clean, bed was comfy, air conditioning was chilly, and shower was hot. Check in was a breeze. Appreciated the separate living room area within the room. Front staff was attentive. Would stay here again if we are in Waterton.
