Best little getaway

The room was extremely clean. The most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. The grounds was great to walk around on. The restaurant had delicious food. It was all amazing. I'd definitely stay there again.

Disappointing and Uncomfortable Stay

We checked into the hotel at 3:30 PM, only to find that there was no power in the room. With my wife and two young children, this was immediately uncomfortable and concerning. I went to the front office and informed the staff that if the power wasn’t restored by 5:30 PM, we would not be able to stay. The employee assured me that they would notify the owner. Unfortunately, by 5:30 PM there was still no power. I went back to the front office, but it was already closed. I called the office phone and explained our situation again, hoping for some resolution. Instead, we were told to “go outside and explore other adventures,” even though we just wanted to rest after a long journey. At 5:45 PM, we made the decision to leave. I left a note for hotel management explaining our experience. It was extremely disappointing and inconvenient, especially with children. This lack of communication and customer care was unacceptable, and we will not be choosing this resort again in the future.

Beautiful location for race fans

A great value for your money in a great location to Watkins Glenn . Very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in the hotel rooms, but cabins look amazing. Very clean and well maintained. Quiet family oriented or for those of us who just want a comfy, reasonably place to stay.

Absolutely Amazing Stay! I had an incredible experience at this lakeside resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The accommodations were beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of my favorite parts was the cozy lounge area, where guests can unwind with complimentary coffee or tea, play games, or simply relax. The outdoor fire pit was another highlight — perfect for making s’mores, enjoying the peaceful view, and chatting with fellow travelers. And best of all, the resort is truly dog-friendly! It was such a joy to travel with our pup and feel so welcomed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a beautiful lakeside escape!

The property was beautiful. We loved the chalet that we stayed in, super comfy bed, beautiful views, no matter which one you stay in. Staff was very kind, helping us park our trailer, and being accommodating. Would highly recommend this little secret in Watkins Glen.
