Everything was virtual. Room was okay. Heat was difficult to adjust, room way too hot. Broken blind in bathroom. We had front room on street, lots of noise even with my earplugs. Curtains on windows were not adequate to keep light from porch and street out of room. Probably will not stay here again
Parking was easy, but not secure.
Got to the room around midnight from a 5 hour drive and there was no heat, found out the breaker tripped. They did move us to a room in the main building with heat, but we paid for a king bed and ended up with a queen bed. When we were getting ready for bed lifted the covers and there was hair in the sheets. They moved us to the room beside the main road and the cars and trucks going by are ridiculously loud and seems like the windows are open, so not getting any sleep. Not a great experience good thing we are only staying here 1 night. Very disappointing as it look like a beautiful city.
Very cute place. Love the history but no tv remote in one of the bedrooms. Rooms could be cleaner. No towel rack in bathroom. Also some sort of presence touched me on the back in the bedroom with the fridge in it after getting into pajamas, so much so that my heart rate spiked and we ended up driving back to Rochester at midnight, as neither of us could sleep after that.
the room could have been cleaner. we ran out of toilet paper. We noticed that there was no smoke detector. We had to hook up a different TV to replace the one that had a black streak running down the screen. There were several bathroom tiles that were completely broken loose. It was a convenient location though and the bed was comfortable.
The place was so seedy looking and dead that when we had trouble using the keyless entry to take the room we decided to not even stay there and booked another hotel 15 miles away.
Room was ok - clean and with all the amenities. Only issue is that - at least in the main building - walls are paper thin so the moment your neighbors wake up (next door or upstairs ) , your sleep is over .
Also very high-tech - check-in via email and ets with entry codes for the doors so make sure you are ok with the modern tech .
Les points faibles : Personnel et service et confort de la chambre
The location and the safety was the only thing good about this room. It was part of the main so I felt safe as a solo traveler. But actually checking into the hotel was difficult, had to do everything online and called two people before one of them called me back to let me in so very slow process. I waited in the lobby for quite some time. Then ended up back at my car waiting until someone called me back so I could go in and check in. I could not get the TV on the remote control seem to be dead so I turned it on with a button on the TV but I couldnât do anything else. So I shut it back up.I called that same number a couple of times to say the room was freezing cold. No one ever called me back. I looked in every closet in every drawer and could not find any extra blankets and could not find any, so I had to sleep in layers of my clothes and my nose was frozen. I only slept a couple hours and could not get warm so I left and went out to my car and warmed up with the seat heaters. I would definitely not come again and I definitely would not recommend.
The mattress was awful. Sagging in the middle so badly we kept rolling to the center. We felt like a human taco! The bed is the most important thing in the room the room. The carpet was very dirty. I canât comment on the staff because there werenât any⊠off season so self check-in
