The hotel staff were very friendly and kind, and made sure we got the extra cot in our room, as requested over the phone the day before. The room itself was way above our expectations - clean, spacious, smelled nice, and very comfortable beds with clean and good quality bedding. I deducted 1-star for one simple reason: the security was seriously lacking at this motel. We were staying in a room adjacent to the parking lot, and there was only a doorknob lock. No deadbolt or chain, so it didnt feel safe at all. We also noticed a lack of security cameras and some unlit areas of the property. We arrived around 11pm when it was dark, and there was a group of men drinking beer in the parking lot. There was also a couple who had a large pitbull type dog, and it was running loose up and down the second floor walkway. I told them to leash their dog and they responded very rudely to me. Obviously not the hotels fault if guests act badly, but perhaps additional security measures and/or staff presence would discourage these kind of behaviours.

We were only passing through. The hotel seemed to be a bit run down, but our clean room and the friendly, helpful staff made us soon forget this. We would stay there again if we were passing through Wawa.

Good place in Wawa

The hotel is centrally located near downtown Wawa and the lake. The staff were very friendly at the hotel and restaurant/bar. The hotel is a bit dated, but good for the money and clean.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, making check-in quick and easy, which was great after a long day of travelling. The bed was comfortable and room was recently upgraded and enough space for 2 people. However, we felt the room could have used a deeper clean, the parking wasn’t well marked (challenging to navigate in the dark), and would’ve appreciated more than 2 pillows for 2 people.

Super clean and a very nice stay, we brought our dog and they charge an additional 40.00 (20.00 each night) but it’s great that they are pet friendly. That cost is strange because they don’t do a change over each day/clean. So it should be one set fee. Overall good place to stay!

The check-in was easy, very friendly staff. Our room was lovely - very clean, modern and well kept. The hotel itself could use a refresh - paint, a new sign and a bit of an update but it was overall great!
