What a beautiful little place to stay. Obviously newly renovated, great amenities, extremely clean, and friendly staff. The little "coffee shop" was an added bonus. If you've stayed in other motels along the North shore, you know they are sometimes a bit...questionable to say the least. But the Mystic Isle is genuinely nicer than most new-build chain hotels I've stayed in. 10/10 would recommend!

No indoor drinking water filling station. staff suggested to use an outdoor water tap which was 1.5 ft above ground, so you have to kneel down to fill your water bottles. Room was clean and nice with enough light. Washroom exhaust fan was NOT working. so kids kept slipping inside washroom floor hopefully they didn't get hurt. Overall it was a pretty good stay. Loved the log house concept.

Cute hotel…very clean and good location. Restaurant across the road was excellent. My only complaint was the bed was not comfortable. Too hard. Other than that the place was perfect for a one night stop.

Super one night stay!

Room is exacting as the online picture when booking. Room was very clean and comfortable exactly what was needed after a long day. Got there after dark so can't comment on the scenery but was defintely quiet. 5 mins from Wawa for a late night supper at Subway. Excellent TV with sportnet to watch the Jays game. Toilet was cleaned and had a warranty type seal saying it was sanitized for us. Can't comment enough on the cleanliness and the recent looking remodel. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

I desperately want to leave a perfect score for Mystic Isle as it is absolutely beautiful roadside motel that shows incredible care by the owners. However, a few things detracted from our stay: the washroom has a window, but no fan; power in the washroom is controlled by the light switch (we like to plug in a night light for night time trips); and the mattress was a little soft for our taste (but we do love our firm mattress). Overall it was quiet, dark, we were able to get a great view of the sunset from the front of the property and staff were great!

First time in decades we stayed in a "motel." Our past experiences were always sketchy sonwe avoided them altogether. But, this place challenges that notion. From the outside it looks clean and taken car of. But room was a suprise! Well appointed, nicely modernized and a contemporary decor. A very nice place.
