Very nice unit in Downtown Waxahachie. Very comfortable bed and furniture. Shops and restaurants nearby. There is a steep staircase at entry and stair steps in the unit if any mobility issues are a concern. We enjoyed our stay very much
Great place to stay in the middle of everything. Restaurants, shops and nature area were all within walking distance. The loft was cute and had everything we needed. Be aware that those with mobility problems, there are lots of stairs.
This unit is perfect. A tad bit of funky in the architecture and amazing charm. Great communication with the owner and closing chores are very easy i.e. pull sheets and towels and place by washer. It is a two block walk to the Square and there are shops just downstairs and all around the square. Four restaurants / lunch/ brunch places within the two block walk. Other restaurants such as College Street Pub and The Emory are also close on the other side of the square. I am biased - my now husband and I stayed at this unit when he proposed to me at College Street Pub, where we had our first date. Love the addition of the yellow chairs that become twin beds. May be my next girls trip location.
Exactly as pictured, charming! Perfect for my daughter and I to attend a friendâs wedding! Walking distance to train station coffee shop and other shops and restaurants.
Got the info and check in times. Checked in and left for our event. Came back several hours later to find someone elseâs belongings in our room. Messaged owner to find out what was going on and was getting no responses. Finally called VBRO to get answers. I was scared and had no idea who was going to come in. They called owner who admitted they double booked. Sent us to another room in which we had a terrible time accessing. Got in that suite and the deadbolt would not lock! Did not get a wink of sleep due to fear of someone coming in. These were downtown lofts. Ran out of hot water during my shower. I will say both lofts appeared clean. I think owner should have called me immediately additionally I think I should have been reimbursed but was not even offered a discount.
