Fine property to stay at on your way through. The keys never worked for our room and the breakfast was not done as nicely as our previous IHG stay. It was a quick in and out situation.

The day after check in our keys didn't work (we booked for 3 nights) and they said the system canceled the reservation. When I got new keys I went into my room and they had thrown away my shampoo and conditioner and my snacks. The drinks were moved in the fridge so they were probably discarded and put back. They found out that my luggage was still there and realized we hadn't left. They paid to replace my shampoo and conditioner. Then the next day my keys didn't work again and they said it must be the system or the fact I looked from a third party site.

The manager at this hotel was excellent in helping us. Apparently, hotels.com didn't send him reservations that were made when it was comfort inn prior to us staying now as holiday inn. He was able to take care of us and explained that this has happened multiple times to travelers that booked prior to the change over.

Very Nice

Room was very nice and clean. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was better than expected. Thought it was only continental breakfast but was eggs, sausages, potatoes, biscuits & gravy plus other things. Within walking distance to very good and reasonably priced Italian Restaurant. Friendly staff at front desk.

Absolute train wreck

The entire place was a wreck as it is being heavily remodeled. Few amenities were actually available, in particular the morning breakfast. There was construction debris and filth tracked all over the lobby, elevators, hallways, on all floors. We did not have running water for over 80% of our stay, so we were unable to even take showers or ise the toilets. There was no warning about this at any point during the booking process, no notice given by the clerk at check in, no apologies at any point during the stay, and they refused to discount the stay.

The hotel was undergoing some renovations. Inconvenient but understandable. Pool and fitness center were closed and being worked on. However, the hotel made no attempt to partner with a local facility for guests who wanted to use these amenities. This would not have been a big deal for a one night stay but I was there for three days. Bummer.
