We loved the cabin and the privacy and peace and quiet. The king size beds in both rooms were very comfy. The nicest surprise was a homemade pound cake. Nothing like cake on the lake...we enjoyed eating it with our morning coffee in the rocking chairs overlooking the beauty of Lake Wedowee.
Everything was going great for our vacation. We get off the water and ready to check-in to the cabin. Then go to try and find the cabin and failed to do so from the maze of backroads. We contacted the host and he tells us "I ain't got no cabin for you, I don't know what to tell you". Being the holiday, no other rentals are available. We are then forced to drive our families back hundreds of miles on 4th of july. Highly do not recommend.
The cabin was beautiful and clean with a great view and lots of nearby land to explore (we saw several adorable calves). The host was very friendly, offered to drive us directly to the cabin (GPS won't quite get you there).
We also drove to Flat Rock Park for trails and swimming, only 20 minutes away
