The best vacation in a while. Close to mount Hood, hiking, some kayaking but donât overlook grocery store close by and beautiful golf courses at The Courses down from shopping. Reasonable prices for food. The cabin looks great as pictured, clean, and suppled well. Bridge over Creek gets you to rocky river where there are 2 comfortable chairs. We loved it.
third time we "ve stayed here. Love the house and fenced back yard. for our dog. Neighborhood not too busy and only 5 min walk to river. we'll be staying again.
Great property - clean, cozy, beautifully functional backyard with sound of flowing river near. Easy to quickly make it feel like home. The location is ideal, less than 5 mins drive from main grocery and restaurants in Welches, OR. Would stay again!!
Loved the cabin. And loved having chairs by the river. Outdoor area very nice. Would have liked thicker towels in the kitchen and also hotpads would be nice. Almost burned my fingers. Hair dryer would be perfect. Will stay again but will bring those items.
Extremely easy check in and the cabin was clean and cozy! We had everything we needed for our time there and we would definitely come again! Thank you!
I had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! Check-in and check-out were super simple, and everything went smoothly. The cabin is nestled in a beautiful, secluded spot surrounded by trees, with a lovely path and little bridge that leads to a small beach on the riverfrontâcomplete with two chairs to relax and take it all in.The cabin was very clean and had a well-stocked kitchen, which made it easy to cook meals during my stay. Iâd recommend bringing your own coffee grounds and filtersâthere were just enough filters left for me to use, which was a lucky bonus! The WiFi and TV worked just fine for what I needed.I was attending a 3-day Animal Reiki class just across the highway (about 1/4 mile away) at the Wildwood Recreation Center. Itâs an absolutely beautiful park with forested trails, peaceful picnic areas, and a swimming spot on the Salmon River.Overall, this place was a peaceful retreat and had everything I needed. Iâll definitely be returning!
5/5 for the cabin itself. Kids loved it and it was well stocked. Fire pit out back was great for roasting marshmallows and walk by the stream was an adventure. Water , however, had a strong metallic smell and taste---we were very concerned about that. Vacasa absolutely needs to address that. The exterior could have been better maintained--cushions needed dusting and wiping, driveway was overgrown in parts. Aside from these, it was as the description stated, roomy and charming.
My husband and I recently experienced a family loss, and needed some time away and unplugg. This was perfect for that. We enjoyed the quiet and just the sound of the river. We felt secluded, even though we knew we had neighbors. It was easy and easy for us to bring our small dog.
Overall had a lovely stay. Peaceful setting and great outdoor space. Only thing keeping from 5 stars is the 1st night we heard what sounded like a mouse in the vents in the front room. Kept us on edge a little for the rest of the stay.
We were looking for a few days in the mountains. Hoping to see stars, be surrounded by woods, and lulled into relaxation with a rushing river. This cabin checked those boxes. It is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Even with neighbors close by, it felt like we were in the woods by ourselves. The cabin had that old-cabin smell to it, but that aired out quickly. The house was stocked with all the kitchen supplies we needed. the layout was conducive to us hanging together. Would love to stay here again.
If you're looking for that mountain vibe, this place has it! From the cozy ambiance of the cabin, to the campfire pit of back, to the sounds of the rushing Sandy River. It's a short drive to Timberline or any of the local ski resorts.
This cabin is cute and stayed warm, the sound of the river flowing in the back was relaxing. The house did not have some necessities like sponges or trash bags had known I would have purchase some before arriving. Other than that it was easy to find and accurate description.
The cabin had a great location. Came in winter so could not sleep with windows open to hear the river but it is close enough you can hear it in the backyard.
The heating system is a little loud in the front bedroom so don't put a light sleeper in that room.
The cabin was spotless, lots of towels, and plenty of space. The thermostat did have a lock on the temperature and time, so it did get down to 66 degrees at night, until the lock time passed and we could control the temp, getting to warm up a bit to 70-72 degrees. The other issue was with check out. We had no service here, so the communication by text for check out instructions was not seen by us until we were off of the airplane (where we were unable to communicate, due to lack of service/airplane mode) and headed to our own home across the country from this home. We did let the management team know that while we actually left the home at 4:30 a.m. we didn't see the text messages until 12 hours later. Perhaps having a Welcome/House Info. Book onsite with all the info. needed regarding check in, rules, information, check out would eliminate this type of situation. Other than this, we would stay again.
I loved this place. So much so that I returned the following week. It was clean, kitchen well stocked and the location was fabulous-especially the sound of the river. I will be back!
Need to exterminate carpenter ants, they were dropping from the ceiling throughout the weekend. The yard and shower could use a spring cleaning. Great location.
