The hotel is lovely, however we felt it was very overpriced. We stayed 1-4 Jan so assume a peak season tariff was applied. For <$200, it would be totally acceptable. However we were charged more than double that so you expect a lot more. Some examples of where it missed expectations - The bath is on the balcony, however there is little privacy from the shared kitchen on one side and the next room on the other, you can peer round the sides straight into the bath. The water is also luke warm. There’s no safe for valuables. The bed is extremely creaky, it wakes you up in the night. They don’t have spare keys so the room can only be serviced when you’re at the hotel. These might all seem trivial but for $500+ SGD a night you have certain expectations. The location is great. The staff were lovely. The room is spacious and clean and the views are stunning.

Absolutely loved this spot - amazing ocean views with a great swimming spot right outside. Accommodation is away from the hustle and bustle of Weligama but easy to reach via tuk tuk. Great spot for surfers looking to make the most of the local breaks up and down the coast.

Nice view thru window. Close to the beach, good for sunset view. Anyone can go without a charge. Clean room and supplied cookers as home stay. Dining market at beach 2km away. Bike rental friendly, five minutes walking to the rental and take me back to hotel after returning. Half hour driving to dock for wacthing whales

I traveled alone, but from the very first moment I arrived at Ocean Bliss, I never felt alone. I was welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness that my stay became something truly unforgettable! Anjana was absolutely incredible. She made sure I could always reach her, no matter what, and she helped me with everything—from big questions to the smallest details—always with a smile and a caring heart. She became more than just staff to me; she became my friend, and I already miss her dearly. She arranged a surf class for me which was great, and also a private cooking class. Yes, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the view from the rooftop terrace is simply spectacular. But what truly made this place special was the people. The hospitality and kindness shown by Anjana, Chamod, and Pulidu touched me deeply and made my stay extraordinary. A very special thank you to these wonderful people—I will never forget you. Ocean Bliss will always have a place in my heart, and I hope to return one day 💙

Super Lage, direkt am Strand, tolle Aussicht, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer und unheimlich praktisch, da sogar eine Waschmaschine gratis zur Verfügung steht und sogar ein Wäscheständer gebracht wurde. WiFi funktioniert ebenfalls gut. Zudem war bei uns im Zimmer alles sehr sauber. Ein absolutes no go ist allerdings Gästen ins Gesicht zu lügen! Diese Unterkunft ist aktuell (und wahrscheinlich noch sehr lange) eine totale Baustelle und gerade erst im Aufbau. Bohren, Hämmern usw. von morgens bis abends! Ich hatte sogar vor Anreise noch explizit nachgefragt, ob aktuell Bauarbeiten stattfinden was verneint wurde! Das erste, was wir dann hörten, war: Baulärm! Auf erneuten Kontakt hin wurde mir mehrfach zugesichert, dass die Bauarbeiten pausiert / eingestellt werden - 3x hat man das schriftlich versprochen! Natürlich war auch das eine Lüge und es ging munter weiter. Hier wird dem zahlenden Gast ins Gesicht gelogen. Dann wollte man mir erzählen, es würde unter uns in den Räumen lediglich die AC repariert werden, was mehr als offensichtlich nicht der Fall war. Überall stehen neue Matratzen in den Gängen, es liegt Bauschutt rum, auf dem Balkon unter uns wurde der Aussenbereich gestaltet/ Fußleisten angebracht etc. Man wird völlig verarscht! Es ist mehr als offensichtlich, dass hier eine komplette Renovierung stattfindet!! An Frechheit und Arroganz kaum zu überbieten. Mit Urlaubsflair und Erholung hat das NICHTS zu tun!! Zudem wird bei der Zimmerbeschreibung ein "jacuzzi" erw
