We Arrived around 4 pm after travelling for 41/2 hrs for. function, our key was left in our room as the attendant was off site
Discovered there was no hot water in the bathroom and the carpet near the bathroom was soaking wet
Called the attendant who sent a lady to our room to check- nothing could be done as it obviously was a plumbing issue
We attended our function and during this time the carpet tiles had been replaced but still no hot water
It was extremely cold that night so i turned on the heater in the room only to discover it also was not functioning
We spoke to a visitor in the room beside us who also said there was no hot water in her room either
We checked out of our room at 10 am the next morning with no shower available
I spoke to a lady in the office and voiced my disappointment and requested a refund of $170 as we now had to travel another 41/2 hrs back home un showered from the previous days of travel
I would think when you are cleaning the rooms you would check all bathrooms are in working order as well as any other equipment that would be used as thatâs what you are paying for when you book your stay
I think this place could be a very comfortable stay if all amenities are working as itâs very close to the town
Letâs hope some improvement happens in the near future for this place to keep functioning
When I checked in and got to my room there were bugs everywhere bathroom was left open no fly screen on it, went to have a shower and only 1 towel in room for 2 people no mugs for a cuppa and then to top it off finally get mugs and the milk was frozen solid.
