This was an excellent hotel. We had a pleasant room on the 22nd floor. Large comfy bed, clean room, and a large hot shower. Getting to the wharf was a breeze when we used a special lift to leave out the back.

Good points: very well located in city centre, airport buses serve Lambton Quay outside. Plenty of nearby places to eat. Rooms are clean, well sized and bathrooms well appointed. Desk staff helpful and friendly. Indifferent points: quirky room lighting with dimmer controls instead of individual bedside lights. Room cleaning erratic, "please make up room" signs don't confer any priority. Could do with: room safes, leaving valuables with the front desk is very passé. Would stay there again.
