Tout Ă©tait parfait !! La maison est trĂšs bien amĂ©nagĂ©e pour une ou deux familles (avec une deuxiĂšme petite cuisine). Les lits sont confortables, trĂšs grand salon, trois salles de bain complĂštes, cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e ! À l'extĂ©rieur, il y a deux espaces terrasse bien amĂ©nagĂ©s et la cours est intime ! Tellement paisible ! Le secteur est silencieux, vraiment pas bruyant ! Facile d'accĂšs pour la plage ! Nous avons tout apprĂ©ciĂ© !!

Gorgeous home in a great neighborhood. Decent walking distance to a beautiful beach. Loved all the bed rooms, house has a lot of character. Just wish towels were provided and there wasn’t a need to rent them.

We had a wonderful stay overall! The location is excellent — about a mile to the beach and an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The house was very clean, felt freshly remodeled inside, and had a well-stocked kitchen with the basics. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated.That said, a few areas could be improved. The carbon monoxide detectors went off several times after showers due to steam, and the Wi-Fi was spotty for a few hours until reset. The host quickly responded to both issues, but they were still inconvenient. For the nightly rate, we felt linens, towels, and a bath mat should be included, as the bathroom floor became slippery after showers. The top bunk railing also needs reinforcement for safety, and while we appreciated the effort to manage pests, the snap trap in the living room corner wasn’t ideal with children around.We also requested a late checkout, hoping for some flexibility after these issues, but instead were offered an extension at 25 per hour. This was disappointing and left our stay ending on a less positive note.Overall, we enjoyed our time, loved the location, and felt well supported by the host. With a few thoughtful updates and a little more flexibility, this home could be an even better value for future guests.

Great Wells Oasis

I booked this place for a weekend to celebrate my birthday with friends. Immediately was so delighted by the amount of space. So many bathrooms and beds and was the perfect amount of space for my group. The long kitchen table was a great spot to hang out, play board games, etc. The outdoor space provides you with a great amount of privacy, even with being on the corner of the street. We enjoyed using the fire pit, putting on the string lights that created a great ambiance. My friends couldn't stop raving about the place. Amy was very communicative and provided all the information we needed to make the stay seamless and stress free. Very very clean and just overall such a delightful spot. We all talked about finding a time where we can come back and stay again. Truly such a great spot with easy access to the beach as well.

Very comfortable stay

We stayed at the Relax Shack for a Christmas Shopping girls trip. Everything was very comfortable. Would stay again! Linens were not provided, (a promo code to a local linen rental company was provided), so if packing your own, remember to pack something for the bathroom floors, and extra blankets in the colder months.

Great place to stay with friends for a week at the beach!

We had a great stay with 2 families enjoying a week at the beach. The house is big and easily handles 2 families comfortably. The large and beautiful open kitchen is a great focal point. The outdoor fire place makes for some nice evening hanging out with friends. Overall, a great stay!

Summer 2024

The Relax Shack was roomy for our family of 6 and one baby. Location was great for beach and getting around on rte 1. Only 5min ride to beautiful North Beach in Ogunquit. Amy was great with communication and helpful with any questions we had. We loved the outdoor patio areas and gas fire pit. The kitchenette came in handy. We would definitely rebook in the future.

So Much Room to Relax!

Thoughtfully decorated rental with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax! The automatic awning is a fantastic feature, providing welcome shade from the setting sun. This rental has so much space for your extended family / multi family stay. The kitchen accommodates a large number of guests and boasts high quality appliances. The kitchenette, with full fridge, is extremely convenient. Home is conveniently located close to Wells Beach and Ogonquit Beach (beware: Moody Beach is private and residents were shooing beach goers away). Hosts are very responsive to renters needs. You will be pleased if you choose the Relax Shack for your next stay!

Our experience at the Relax Shack was phenomenal. Everything was perfect with the cottage. It was clean, well equipped with everything we needed and in a perfect location just minutes from the beautiful Ogunquit beaches.

An amazing home for our reunion
!

This home was beautiful and a great fit for our family of 7 adults and two children. Every room had comfortable beds and access to their own bathroom. The kitchen was large and light and a dream to cook in. Just as soon as we contacted the owner to let her know we did not have all the parts to a coffee maker, she immediately brought over one that was even better than the one that had been in the home before. Having a second Kitchen in the home was tremendously helpful since the couple with the two children were able to keep all of the baby formula and bottles separate from the rest of the household. The outdoor areas were also private and nicely landscaped. I would definitely recommend this home for others without any hesitation.

Wells Belles

Relax Shack worked out perfectly for our group of 8 women on a golf getaway weekend. Plenty of space to get together, bedrooms and bathrooms. The 2nd kitchen was super convenient. The beds & pillows were very comfortable! The area was close to everything, but also in a nice quiet area, perfect for relaxation. We did have to pick up toilet paper, since three rolls were not quite enough for 8 people using three bathrooms, but other than that, the house was great! Highly recommend Relax Shack!

Girls Get-away

Great place for friends to gather and have fun
both in town and back at the house. We didn’t know about bringing our own linens until a couple days before. Seemed weird to have to bring own towels and bedding. Would have been better to have that info in the listing. Another small upgrade would be to have hand towels available in kitchen. We all brought hair dryers but would be helpful for bathrooms to have dryers. Loved the fire pit. Loved location. The furniture in house was perfect.

Chillax 2021 @ Relax Shack

The property was immaculately clean with ample space for our family of 5 adults and 2 children under 5 to spread out, including 3 bathrooms! We loved having a yard for outdoor relaxing and games and the family room and kitchen provided great gathering space. Just a quick drive to North Beach and in close proximity to Wells, York and Ogunquit, it was the perfect location for our family.

Great stay!

We loved our stay at the Relax Shack! The home was sparking clean and thoughtfully renovated. We had two families staying together and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The 10-min walk to the beach was easy and convenient, we ended up going nearly every day! Would definitely stay again!
