What a cute way to glamp! The covered wagon is just as pictured on the site. One thing that I didn’t realize though; there are two wagons or maybe three displayed on the Vrbo page. So I didn’t know which one I would be getting. It didn’t matter though. They’re very comparable. Everything was very clean and the service from the owner was fantastic. They’re very responsive and helpful.I was 30 to 40 minutes from the hiking trails I wanted to do. There’s not a lot of clothing storage so my car was my closet. I was able to park my car right next to the wagon. The bed was super comfortable, and there was plenty of space on the floor for my dog’s bed. The shower was bigger than I expected and nice and hot. Not a bad way to camp!Note that since being in a wagon offers the same amount of a sound barrier as being in a tent, do not expect quiet. Other families are spending time outside, and you will hear them. Nothing obnoxious, but something to be aware of.Only two things I didn’t love: All the lightning is very dim. So if you’re trying to read or prepare equipment for hiking, you can always use a headlamp.Second, the campground itself can use some TLC. The area where the wagons are parked is nice and surrounded by other nice cabins. But the grounds are kind of rough. All in all though, a great place to stay, and I would definitely go there. Highly recommend!
