This house is fantastic. It is perfect for a family reunion. We had only adults on this trip but it would be well suited for children too. There is plenty to do for adults and children alike - home theater, game room with pool table and air hockey, indoor pool, lots of outside spaces. There were even games to play. The house is large and well laid out. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of seating at the dining area. Two family rooms, two laundry rooms. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. It is very close to center of Wellsboro and an easy ride to Mansfield. The Grand Canyon, nearby, is a must see. I would highly recommend this home!

Wellsboro Weekend Getaway

I cant say enough good things about my experience with staying at the Lake View Lodge. I dealt with Christopher the property manager throughout the whole booking process/stay and he was nothing short of amazing. Chris answered every question i had leading up to our stay. He helped and fixed the only two minor issues we had throughout the weekend. During the first night of our stay the hottub stopped working and there was an issue with the speakers in the theater room. Chris had a handyman there the next morning at 10am who fixed both issues within under an hour. We were so grateful. The house is absolutely amazing. We utilized each and every amenitie to the fullest and had so much fun. The house came stocked with literally anything you could think of, from a large percolator coffee machine, extra linens, wood for the fire pit, and even seperate towels for the pool and hottub. This was truley the best experience of renting a home that I have ever had. I will definitely be back to this property for another weekend of fun and relaxation. I highly recommend booking this home for your next vacation.

Perfect Family Retreat

The house and grounds are beautiful and the house easily accommodated our family of 16. We used both kitchens and loved the large dining area. Beautiful location

Overall, the property was ideal for our large group. The amenities were just what we wanted. However, there were a few minor issues. Many of the sliding doors did not work smoothly, and it became troublesome. The hot tub was not prepared. It required a phone call to have maintenance come in and add chemicals however, it would require more maintenance as the week went on. We were also unable to control the temperature. The promised heated pool was not functioning as well, although the pool was usable, it was not heated. The promised firewood, for the outside pit was not available as well. The firewood was acquired from a nearby retail outlet. We especially liked the two large dining room tables that accommodate all 24 of us. The kitchen and dining area and sleeping areas were exceptional. It was very spacious, and we were not at all crowded in any of the living spaces. We especially enjoyed the outside decks that looked over the lake and viewed deer, eagles, and osprey. Regardless of the few issues listed, we had a very enjoyable time there. Thank you.

An Unforgettable Stay in Paradise!

We had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable home and we were absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this was not just an ordinary vacation rental but a truly extraordinary retreat. The amenities were simply top-notch. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the indoor fantastic pool and hot tub. Whether we were cooling off under the warm sun or relaxing in the soothing bubbles, we couldn't get enough of this aquatic paradise. It provided the perfect setting for rejuvenation and unwinding after a long day of exploration. The game room was another major hit for both kids and adults alike. With a wide array of entertainment options available, from pool to air hockey, we had endless hours of fun and friendly competition. It was an excellent way to bond with family and friends and create lasting memories together. The movie theater was a super hit with the kids where they watched endless movies. As we explored the home, we were immediately struck by its spaciousness and tasteful décor. The layout was brilliantly designed, with ample room for everyone to find their own space and privacy. The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep for all. The location and surrounding scenery were nothing short of breathtaking. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the property offered stunning views of nature at its finest. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a truly memorable vacation.

Great stay!

Our family stayed for several days over Thanksgiving. We all really enjoyed the house and property. The host answered all of our questions before our stay and helped to make sure we had everything we needed for a successful Thanksgiving. We were grateful to have a beautiful place to spend the holiday with family.

TEN STARS!!!!

5 stars is just not enough for this place! It absolutely surpassed all of our expectations. Ages 3-76....every one of us had an unforgettable time!!! We never had to leave the property because every thing we needed was supplied. Many, many thoughtful items were available - all of which made our stay easy, carefree, and relaxing. Beds were all super cozy, house was spacious and immaculate. Air conditioning was perfect in all areas of the house. Decor was tastefully done and the layout couldn't have been any better. The host was extremely gracious and promptly answered my many, many questions. Seamless check in and check out process. Pool was a HUGE hit. Even has a changing area attached to it to dry off -with benches, relaxing music and a fireplace to warm you up after a winter swim!!! The hot tub and fire pit were just icing on the cake. We enjoyed grilling, hanging by the firepit under the starry nights, jumping in and out of the pool and hot tub and playing with all of the board games, pool table, air hockey, etc. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for some wonderful memories to be made!! The only suggestion I offered to the host was that he provide a binder with instructions for future guests. We were a bit confused with how to adjust the thermostat and couldn't figure out how to properly use the theater room. My brother-in-law used his laptop to stream a movie in there - which worked out ok - but with many remotes in there and no instructions, there was no way to use that room as it was intended. Didn't matter much because like I said, we were able to get a movie going and kids were as happy as can be. Arlin appreciated my feedback and my guess is that he'll have a binder available lickety split!! Oh, one more super petty detail...ha ha...none of us could figure out why the bathrooms (nor the bedrooms) had any waste basket receptacles in them? It was a bit mysterious! Every other last detail was thought of except for this one - but certainly no big deal! All in all, the 22 of us gave this house 10 stars and all said it was a truly wonderful weekend in every possible way. Thanks so much for sharing this gem-of-a-house with us! We hope to return again one day :)

A scenic relaxing vacation

Very scenic property right in front of the lake. The front yard is huge, we played volleyball all day long. Enough parking in the back. The interior of the house is very well designed to accommodate all the needs. Nice indoor pool, hot tub, fire pit... great amenities. House was well stuffed with enough bath towels, napkins, toilet tissues, even liquid for washing machine. Our entire group of 25 people really enjoyed the place to the fullest and ready to come back. Little pricy however very well maintained.

Amazing property!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. We had a large group ranging from younger kids, teens and adults. We all enjoyed the pool, playing basketball, and the theater room. Would definitely stay here again!!
