"Eigersonne", 2-room apartment 50 m2, on the top floor. With sloping ceilings, practical and comfortable furnishings: living/dining room with cable TV, radio and DVD. Alcove with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC. Balcony. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and the valley. Facilities: children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds (extra), hair dryer. The pictures of the apartment made it look much more modern than it really was. Since it was basically an attic accommodation the beds were situated where you had to duck down to get to them to avoid hitting your head on the sloped ceiling. The view of the Eiger from the balcony was spectacular. We did have breakfast on the balcony 2 of the mornings we stayed there. The location was not bad. Very short walk to the train station and the Coop market. Wengen is a great place to day trip from!

Top level apartment with great mountain/valley views from the balcony. About 8 min walk to the train station, grocery store and everything else in Wengen. Wengen is a great location for many sightseeing places around Interlaken. It is the last station covered by Swiss Travel pass - going higher requires additional ticket(s). Gets warm in the hot weather (has no AC) but opening windows and running provided fan in the evening made it perfectly fine. Sleeping areas are in the lofted parts of it (slanted and low ceilings) but this was not an issue for us. Kitchen has everything we needed for prepping breakfast and occasional evening meals.

My swiss chalet

Our top floor apartment in this swiss chalet of Wengen was spectacular. Our chalet was very clean and full of character. It had everything you need, if you want to be self contained. We are a family with 2 teenage daughters and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. But the most spectacular part of this chalet, is the view of the swiss alps from our own balcony. UNBELIEVABLE!!! If you dont mind a 6 minute walk from the train station and you want a truly authentic swiss holiday, this is the place to stay. Brilliant.

Cute Place on a Cloudy, Rainy Stay

We were so bummed to be in Wengen during unseasonal rain. Cold rain..... This unit was perfect for what we had planned to do in Wengen, which was mostly be outdoors. As such, we were rained out every day and spent much more time inside than planned. The unit was well equipped, very clean, and cozy. Arrival into Wengen could have been a bit better explained. We arrived late, and didn't quite understand the transportation opportunities or lack of. Finding the actual unit was a challenge. Wengen was a very cute resort town, and we hope to come back someday when it isn't raining.

Stunning!

We had a fabulous stay in Wegnen. The apartment was just the right size for our family of 4 with everything we needed to feel at home. Perfect location. Easy walk to the center of town and the train station. Very quite with unbelievable views of the valley and surrounding mountains. We can't wait to go back!
