I feel that the staff did as well as they could with what they had to work with, but the room had mold on the bathroom ceiling and rust on all the metal surfaces. Hotel needs major upgrades by ownership and based on the scarcity of renters even during the Christmas Holidays.
My biggest concern was that I got NO SLEEP during my 3 days there due to a resident in the next room singing every night at the top of her voice ALL NIGHT! She seems to be a permanent resident and I feel that I wasted my money for those three days because I left town exhausted despite being in town for a funeral!
I would only recommend this hotel if price is your ONLY concern!
This hotel urgently needs new management and a complete remodel. The bathroom has mold, and itâs definitely not suitable for children. We even found skin inside the bed! To make matters worse, the walls are so thin that we could hear people talking loudly through them.
Staff was very ghetto. No microwave in room. Spider and bugs were in room. The TV was basically for a toddler, very tiny. Bed wasn't at all comfortable
Property looks pretty good from outside but it truly needs a makeover in those rooms. They have awesome front desk but they can only work with what they got. Owner needs put money in that hotel It was clean but it really wasn't any breakfast or pool. While I was there
No refrigerator or coffee maker but that was ok with me. Light switches didnât work. Electric sockets sparked and moved into wall. Thatâs if they worked at all. So as I slept I heard dripping noises and stepped off bed into a flooded room. Water dripping from ceiling and soaked wall by my bed. Compensation offered was another room if they could find one. Now this was at 8am. Checkout was 11am. A lot of good that would do.
Would only give me less than a third of what I paid as refund. Big whoop. Manager was Dorothy Jefferson. She was not someone that should deal with the public. Awful. When in jammies went to tell them she asked âwhat did you do?â As I was walking out of office she said âyou should thank god that I had a bed to sleep inâ. I was trying to be understanding but she finally pushed me over my limit. I could have been electrocuted with all the faulty wiring. Iâve been going to west Helena for twenty five years to the blues fest and will never again stay at the delta inn on hwy 49.
I hope that hotels.com doesnât recommend this place any longer as it will surely hurt your reputation.
Ps. Iâd like a full refund but sure Iâll never get it.
