Conveniently Very close to the park entrance. The town is super “touristy”. Hotel feels a throwback to the 80’s, but super clean. My room didn’t have AC, but I didn’t need it due to the time of year I visited. I’ll surely stay here if I visit Yellowstone again.

The room was very clean, the parking area was very muddy. My greatest concern the the attitude of staff, the electricity was flashing on and off. I called the office to report it and who ever answered it wasnt what he said it was how he said. As a person who has worked in the public, that attitude was inappropriate.

Concerning Smell in Room

Amazing location and friendly staff. My room smelled horrible. I believe it was mildew but I'm unsure. It was room 20. Also, the bathroom door was not level, so it left about an 8-10 inch gap due to hitting the floor. The tub did not plug so you could not take a bath. Any time a door shut in a room next to you, across from you, or below you, it was extremely loud. Overall, I would only choose not to stay here again due to the smell. I could get over all of the other issues and the location is amazing. The smell was both disgusting and concerning.

I picked this place since it was the closest to Yellowstone National Park at the most affordable rate. Sure, it’s not a modern room but it was clean and I just needed a place to sleep and freshen up, it served its purpose. The bathroom does have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a bar of soap and towels. Also they provide a nice mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. I wasn’t able to check-in until after hours, when their office closed, but they made it easy for me to figure it out and got into my room with no problem.

This property was exactly what I need on a trip that I visit and hike at National Parks, a clean room, close to park,quiet, friendly service and affordable. Im out all day, then dining was 1-2 minute walk, then sleep. No need to pay for an expensive hotel that I just sleep in and take a hot shower. Staff was great and will definitely come back again.
