Very comfortable and friendly

A two night stay prior to a family get together at the weekend. Very friendly welcome by Andrew the proprietor. Very nice bedroom with en-suite and small dressing room/mini lounge off the bedroom. Partial view of the sea, the beach and the pier and we were about ten minutes walk down the hill to the promenade which is wide and well kept. Super views along the front. Breakfasts were first class and all the staff we met were very friendly. Would definitely stay at the Queenswood Hotel again if we came down to this area in the future. Suggestion... a window blind in room 5 would be a good idea as there are flats opposite across a narrow street.
