Great location awesome view. Very open and easy to move around. Yard was great for playing yard games and letting dogs run around. Very cool seeing planes land on the runway. Very quiet. Great basement for wet clothes and dogs.
The house was just right for our group of 7 friends for a weekend of birding and socializing. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was big and easy to use, the living room and dining room were spacious, and we loved the view of the bay and the little airstrip. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed for 3 nights. As shared by others the view was beautiful, beds were comfy and house was spacious. My recommendations are to add some inexpensive wine glasses. Itâs a drag drinking wine from cups or water glasses, provide some all purpose cleaner for wiping down the white counters and surfaces. water and paper towel doesnât quite cut it.Add to your description that the fireplace is non-functional. All in all, it was a lovely place to stay and recommend.
Close to the beach and the fish and chips restaurants! Private and quiet home with a big kitchen for cooking together and plenty of room to spread out and do puzzles and games. Garage below lets you leave the sandy wet clothes and shoes, and clean off the dogs.
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The rooms and beds were excellent. The kitchen and living room were spacious and open. The view from the large deck was incredible. We will definitely be coming back here.
Wonderful 4 night stay. Bayview has a retro vibe and ver comfortable bed. Great place if you have dogs! There's a strange odor not sure what it was. We were able to adjust by opening windows and turning on fans. The view is fabulous and it's very close to town.
The house was perfect for a family of 6. We had a water view, and saw airplanes landing and taking off. The downside is the cleanliness of the house. There was dog hair everywhere upon our arrival, the grill was so dirty it caught on fire when we started it, the George Foreman grill looked like it hadnât been cleaned in years, and the oven was just as bad. We had to wash any dish prior to us using it because they were all dirty. The driveway has so much overgrowth that it would scratch the car when leaving. Everything was covered in cob webs so we couldnât use the seating outside. The yard hasnât been mowed so it wasnât convenient to take the dogs outside. If the house were clean we would definitely go back
Great, clean, close to beaches and town. Open floor plan with plenty of room for the 6 adults and one dog. House was equipped with all the house hold amenities. Deck had a great view. Basement was great place to leave all the beach equipment and attire so that sand didn't get in the house.
What a beautiful home! Gave us a throwback to our childhood (70âs), except updated with great taste. Very clean, everything there to start your trip. We got to see a few planes take off and ships come and go. Saw a blue colored bird, not sure if it was a blue bird per se, but it was neat to see. Very roomy home on a dead end road so very little traffic. Close to the grocery store and the Westport restaurants and shops of all kinds. Fresh crab on the docks too! There were only 4 of us and a pup, but room for more per house rules. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
The house is lovely and if we were staying there in summer, we probably would have had no complaints. Unfortunately, we arrived on a very cold winter day so immediately looked for how to turn on the gas fireplace, which I had made sure to confirm was in working order before we arrived. I was assured it was. We couldnât figure out how to turn it on so I reached out to Vacasa. After a lot of back and forth,
requests from us for clear instructions on turning on the fireplace and a couple canned responses from customer service about how the gas fireplace âmightâ work, we looked under a decorative lobster figurine in the fireplace and lifted a metal grate to discover a giant hole to the underneath of the house. If a gas hookup existed at one time, itâs no longer there. I sent pictures to Vacasa and asked about a partial refund since the fireplace was partly why we booked and the heat pump at the house was not really keeping up with the cold outside. We were freezing the first night as it took maybe 12 hours for the house to get up to 68 degrees. They told me repeatedly that the gas fireplace does, in fact, work (though no one could actually tell me how to turn it on and no one could be sent to check it out in person despite them referencing a âlocal team.â) They said they wouldnât provide any type of refund because the fireplace works (it doesnât) according to the local team who never showed up to provide any type of support. No more Vacasa properties for me.
Wonderful location on a quiet road with abundant bird watching. Great place to relax and reset. Close to town and other amenities. Perfect layout and very comfortable!
House was great. Property management was very responsive and helpful. There are some restrictions that should be made a bit clearer before contract is signed regarding the number of people that can be in the house, not counting the people staying. Also, a small binder with information regarding occupancy and other restrictions and instructions for use of appliances would be helpful.
Very sweet home that checked all our boxes (although our boys were eagerly awaiting a plane to land, which didnât occurâŠat least not while we were at the house. So quiet, peaceful and a great layout!
We love Westport, itâs quiet and the beaches are beautiful WA beaches-the dunes have a smell. If you know, you know. This house has an amazing view and we enjoyed how close it was to town and the beach. The yard was huge and my boys got a kick out of seeing a few planes take off/land right from the living room. We would love to stay again, thank you.
