We had a wonderful stay! The host was very helpful with local dining recommendations. The cabin was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. We loved listening to the river right outside and it was just a short drive to Lake Almanor, where we enjoyed boating all weekend. Very well appointed cabin. Beautiful on the river location with a lovely deck. Comfy beds and linens. Property owner very responsive and friendly. Actually prefer river view to a lake view now, love the noise of the water. Adequate parking. Easy to lock up house with your own personal code. It was such a beautiful place. We were visiting family that we hadn't seen in a long time. The rental was less than a mile away so going back and forth was very easy. Above and Beyond

This house was a perfect fit for our quickly planned Father's Day celebration. The deck provided a beautiful view of the river with comfortable outdoor furniture. The house interior was very nicely decorated. Lovely linens and pillows made for a great night's sleep along with listening to the flow of the river. Manager/Owner didn't skimp on anything with this property. Debbie was very thorough with instructions which made check-in extremely easy. She went above and beyond to give us tips for good restaurants and provided brochures for activities. All in all, this property was a gem. I highly recommend. -Laurie

Suburb in all respects!

Debbie and Dave were the most responsive hosts we have encountered during our many years of experience with vacation rentals. The property was comfortable, immaculate and so well stocked and equipped we thought we were home. The view from the, to say nothing about the sound of the water was simply wonderful and so peaceful. The neighborhood was quiet and safe for long walks and they even delivered a freshly laundered blanket for our pooch to sleep. Simply a wonderful stay that we hope to repeat.

Great Cottage on Peaceful River

Well appointed and recently remodeled cottage was perfect for a 3 night stay. My son and I came to the area for a fishing trip and this was close to all the spots by the lake. We had everything we needed to cook in each night and enjoyed listening to Hamilton branch river to go to sleep. Back deck had nice views of river and peaceful to sit for a rest. The view was spectacular and the sound of the river was so relaxing. We spend most of our time out on the deck relaxing and visiting. Highly recommend!

This was my second trip staying at the property, the year prior I stayed at the house to the left due to more people on the trip, but this house was just as great. The creek behind the house is extremely peaceful, the decorations of the house are so cute - we felt as though we were at home! Debbie the host is phenomenal and accommodating. I had asked about fans being in the house because I run hot, and I loved the one in the other house so much I ended up buying one for my house. She put one in there for me during my stay! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!

I can’t say enough positive things about this location. First off, the property is VERY well kept and very accommodating. The parking area is quite large and just steps from the front door. All of the amenities were exactly as listed on the site. Everything in the house is spotless and would easily pass the “white glove” inspection. The inside of the house is very modern while maintaining the feeling of a lake home. The TV in the living room is quite large and features many viewing platform options which was unexpected. The view from the back deck is stunning and listening to the sound of the creek/river behind the home was a great way to unwind after a long day. The deck features seating for more than 5 people and a BBQ that was put to good use during my stay. The owners of this location are absolutely amazing! They made sure to check in with me before, during, and after my extended stay to make sure my time there was the best it could possibly be. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking to have a great time in the Lake Almanor area without having to worry about a bad rental ruining their trip. I rate this a 12/10 and will be looking to return in the very near future.

Get Away by the Lake

Beautiful location on the river with a cozy and functional design that is family friendly. We were lucky enough to have a dusting of snow which added to the beauty of the area. The river sounded wonderful from back deck. All basic amenities and pantry items were provided by host. Host was also available quickly for support as needed.

Rustic elegance

This was my first experience with a vacation rental and I have to say they set the bar pretty high! I was expecting a rustic cabin in the woods but the remodel upgrades on this cabin made it simply amazing 😍! The host was very accommodating and I missed the area where there was a extra charge for our dog but she was very understanding of this and let me pay later that day when we got back from the lake. There's a cute little switchback trail that takes you down to the river and the views from the deck were absolutely stunning! It's very convenient to the lake and restaurants. I really wish we could have stayed longer to soak in more of the community. The photos really don't do this place justice. The only downside is we have a teenage boy and girl and the bunk beds were a tad smaller than I was anticipating in the loft but our daughter was able to fit on them and our son was able to sprawl out on the larger bed in the middle of the loft. I will definitely be booking this property in the future if we're ever in the area again. Thank you for a wonderful time!

A great place!

This was a great house to stay in. It's well appointed, clean and comfortable. It was a very short drive to the Hamilton Branch fishing access which was a big plus for my kids. The sound of the river behind the house was very peaceful. I would definitely recommend this for a quiet mountain getaway.
