The accommodations were clean, quiet and new looking. It is located a short distance away from "downtown" White Salmon where restaurants and coffee shops. The kitchen had new appliances and was well stocked with plates, utensils, and other cooking tools. The shower was nice but it felt like a phone booth due to its size. I did not have any contact with the owners nor did I need to. Overall it was a nice, quiet place to stay.
Private and quiet. Spotless with quality amenities like a comfy bed, nice linens, and great cookware in the kitchen. Huge frig with a great ice maker which made small size cubes for my water bottle. It was a great base for exploring, and the little town of White Salmon had great restaurants, brewery, hardware and grocery store.
We loved this as-advertised guest house! It's an adorable, well-appointed and super comfortable studio minutes from the heart of White Salmon, Bingen, and hiking trails. We used our VRBO as a base for exploring, hiking and rafting. We cooked all of our own meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of space for all of our stuff, too. Plus the hosts answered all of our questions and were great communicators. I highly recommend!
This was such a perfect spot for my husband & I. We had a wedding at the Griffin House so the distance was so convenient. A small gem, quiet area & such a bang for your buck!
White Salmon , WA is super fun ! This VRBO was terrific ! Comfy bed , sparkling new interior with great kitchen area.Host was outstanding , very helopful !Setting was utterly serene and private â just a few minute drive to the four star great White Samon Bakery for breakfasts and lunches on their deck that were super delicious /nutricious, too ! Two Outstsding restaurants within 50 yards of the bakery ! 8 minutes to the Columbia River, so majestic at this place more than a mile wide !!! Highest praise ! Weâd be back in a heartbeat !!!
We were there for a wedding in hood river. This was a perfect location to stay as we wanted a little peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of the wedding. The town has some great bars and restaurants which made it good for not having to traverse the bridge to hood river too often. We will stay again if in the area
It's so nice to have your own little house to stay in! Great access to Hood River, very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. We'd definitely stay again!
I was very surprised at the size of this property. It felt very inviting and calm. I loved sitting out and looking at the field watching for birds. If I return to White Salmon, I will definitely rebook this property.Just a note, very close to the town of White Salmon, so running in to grab something to eat was super easy.
The unit was exactly as described and pictured. I appreciated that the owners include a few small touches that many corporate-owned places don't anymore--bathroom rugs, seasonings, cooking oil, kitchen linens, etc. The setting seems like you are in the country, but it's just minutes to downtown White Salmon, where you can find everything you need. It's also a great central location to explore both the Washington and Oregon side of the river.
The misses and I were looking for an extra night on our way back home and found this little gem. It is off the beaten path but is perfect in every way. We were looking to just hang out for the evening and this place let us do just that!Extremely clean, quiet and has everything you need!Looking to come back in the warmer months to see the area outside of the winter time.
Clean space that actually ended up feeling spacious. No issues and didnt end up needing to communicate with anyone. Just a wonderful, private stay. There was snow and it was hard to tell where we were supposed to drive and as nothing was shoveled or marked. The place is up steep hills from downtown White Salmon. If the weather had been any worse or we had not had 4 wheel drive it would have been kind of scary. It is close to Hood River but the bridge between is narrow and a mile long and requires tolls. Loved the place and would love to come agqin.
