Everything was great, with the exception of the people above us were "jumping" and noisy up to 2:00 am and again at 5:00 am. We should have complained to the hotel. Not their issue if they do not know about it, but was a downer.

This 1912 Hotel has lovely wide hallways and the best acoustics of any hotel I gave stayed in. They knew how to build and all renovations since then have obviously kept the acoustics.

Unique, Lovely & Historic

Beautiful historic hotel in downtown Kalispell, within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. I’ll take this type of property over a cookie-cutter hotel on the interstate any day of the week. Bathroom was small, our room had only one small sitting chair (in addition to a desk & chair), but it was clean & tidy and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of common sitting areas on each floor as well as a beautiful space in the main lobby. The continental breakfast served in the main lobby was fantastic - try the baked oatmeal! Also the homemade chocolate chip cookies prepared each day, along with popcorn, for guests to enjoy each evening. A very unique and personal experience that made our trip to the area even more enjoyably memorable!

The lobby has been beautifully restored. The rooms, at least mine, not so much. Old carpet. Cheap shower insert. I also had a nice view of the HVAC system from my window. The staff was ok, but not super friendly. It is a cool boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Kalispell and walking distance from lots of restaurants, bars and shops. It felt like they renovated the lobby but ran out of money or didn't care to update the rooms. We did hear it was allegedly haunted and went ghost hunting, but, alas, no ghosts to be found.

Hotel was charming and historic. Desk staff was probably the best we've experienced at anything below 4-star hotel stays. While we appreciated the lobby having both ice water and an air pot with hot water, the room having no fridge or microwave or coffee maker presented a challenge for us as business travels where we needed to get back to the room very late where we could not eat at local restaurants so we had to only have food in our room that we could buy at the local grocery store but not keep cold. We had a room with one king bed and one double. The king bed was fantastic, but at one point we used the double while napping and that mattress was really worn out (like a "V" when you laid on it). Overall we had an A-level experience with this property and for pleasure travel would absolutely stay here again. Just not a place we can use again for business travel.

Old hotel (100+ years) last remodeled in 1990. Breakfast, continental, was far better than that with Quiche, baked oatmeal, etc. Bathroom was small.

Grand is a great description of this hotel. When first enter to last step out. As a guest I appreciated many parts of my stay. From its location, the people, its hospitality of great breakfast and ending the day with cookies. The remodel through out is great, especially a very comfortable and clean room.

Very loud pickup trucks cruise the streets from 6:00 pm to midnight right outside hotel. They are short staffed and we had to wait for someone to show up just to check in. Breakfast was exceptional.
