We rented this home for a family gathering to celebrate my sisterâs birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was very well appointed, spacious, and fit our group of 10 comfortably. Itâs located in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful babbling brook just off the back porch, where we spent every evening relaxing together. At night, the star-filled sky was stunning thanks to how dark it gets thereâone of our favorite parts of the trip.
The location worked well for us: itâs about a 45-minute drive to Glacier National Park, and only 15â20 minutes down the mountain to Whitefish, which has lots of cute shops and restaurants. Weâd also recommend Great Northern Rafting, just a mile from the park entranceâtheyâre one of the last family-owned rafting companies in the area and gave us an excellent experience. For groceries, Safeway in Whitefish had a surprisingly impressive wine selection (as a sommelier, I was impressed!), and thereâs also a wine and liquor shop in the walkable downtown where you can find rare bottles usually only available by allocation.
Overall, our whole group agreed we would happily stay here again. The location is excellent, the home itself is comfortable and thoughtfully stocked, and the property managers were very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this property for a family getaway.
