The North Sea can be reached by car in around half an hour and the Jade Bay with famous places such as Dangast is only a short drive away. So nothing stands in the way of a visit to the beach! Even the famous Klimahaus® in Bremerhaven can be reached in just over an hour and is well worth a visit. If you are interested in ships, it is also worth visiting the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, where impressive cruise ships are built.
