Very unhappy

Checked in, dropped bags and ran back out to dinner. Came back and really got a look, bathroom had wadded up toilet paper on floor, black smears on floor (makeup?) and the shower curtain was missing. Under dust ruffle of beds were pieces of kids toys, so clearly had not been fully cleaned either. Room was dusty, some towels were dirty. TV worked sporadically, most of the time picture was pixelated. Breakfast buffet were 3 trays that were supposed to contain eggs, sausage, and pancakes. First day no eggs or pancakes second day no eggs or sausage. Waited for a bit and they were not refilled.

We checked in and were told our room was around back on the bottom level. We walked in the door and were greeted by the smell of paint, dirty carpet, and mold. We go into our room (the door was ajar). We notice there is no television or smoke alarm on the wall. I made my way around the maze of halls to find the front desk to let the employee know, as I didn't want to be charged for a TV I never had. He seemed surprised there was no tv, but offered to take a tv from an out of service room and bring it to us, once the front counter settled down. I return to the room where my daughter noticed the carpet under the window was completely saturated. I went back to the front desk, told the employee about it and asked for a different room. He said he only had one other room available, but gave it to us. When we walked in, we saw a TV and smoke detector. However, the ceiling above the window was covered in black mold. We checked out and left. The lobby was dirty. There was only 1 person working to cover all stations. While I was in line, a woman complained of an unruly teenager pinching her under water- again, the only person working said he'd get to it once the front desk settled down. A man also came in looking for a couple hours for him and his lady. They were turned away, but this is who's coming in. Overall, it smells, it's dirty, it's very outdated, it's missing pieces, and needs to hire a couple more people. Will never go back.

Worst stay I've ever had. Filthy, broken down, rude, cocktoach infested, disgusting hotel. People came into our room without consent multiple times, and every aspect of the stay was miserable.

This hotel has a great location near colonial Williamsburg and was good for the price. Good room, good breakfast, nice staff-safe location and quiet. But the property needs some work with drIpping AC units as you walk into the building, not all doors to outside working, and a busted door down the second floor hall- assuming it happened recently and was waiting to be fixed. Overall a good stay.

Bed bugs!!

We were very late coming in and at first i thought the staf was friendly letting us chexkin i so late but they charged the car double. Then the room waa very old and dated. The paint on the wall was scratched up and peeling. The beds were a mess and veey uncomfortable. Room was dirty. At first i didnt see any bugs but afte getting home i found a bed bug in my luggage. My worst nightmare. I quickly isolated eveything and dried and sprayed down what i could. But this place is a hell no. Not to mention they dont have breakfast and the pool sucks.

The breakfast was very poor. The room never was cleaning. I had to request towels and soap. The bathroom haven’t hot water. The service laundry isn’t working the dryer machine. I don’t recommend this hotel. The staff was very rude.
