I couldn’t be more pleased!

This was my first time in Wilmington NC and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The property was clean, the location was perfect. It was right at the river walk. The balcony allowed an amazing view. There are many shops and food options just a few steps away. So I definitely recommend this place.

If I had to use only three words to describe our stay, they would be CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. I have never stayed in a VRBO so clean. Check-in and out instructions were very straightforward and easy. And the view was beautiful! Perfect place to watch the sunset over the Battleship.

Stunning view and great location

It’s exactly as pictured and no surprises. If you like a soft bed then you will love the mattress in the bedroom. If I was being picky the drains didn’t drain fast but that comes with an older building and the sheets were a bit rough and probably time to be replaced. However you couldn’t ask for a better location. So many cute shops, restaurants, and pubs/bars within walking distance. There is so much to do we didn’t even get to a lot of the activities on our list. Definitely will be coming back to vacation here again!

How does this condo get a 10? Folks rating these places must be compensated for overinflating. The only good qualities are on-site parking and the view of the battleship. There is no chest in the bedroom for clothes. The bed was agonizingly uncomfortable, and the linens are so rough they feel like burlap. The bedroom carpet is also filthy and buckled. The shower doesn’t drain well. When you finish-you are ankle deep in water. The host messaged on arrival to let her know if there was anything not a 5-star rating. Really? When I complained – all I got were platitudes about comfort being subjective. I would like for her to spend a night on that mattress and see how it works for her. Buy some nice furniture. Get a quality mattress. Replace the horrid bedroom carpet and the peeling laminate flooring. Invest in high thread count sheets. Fix the shower. The condo may then deserve a 10 rating or something close to 5 stars. We paid for 3 nights and left after one. I’ll never use VRBO again. Next time I’ll pick a nice hotel, at least complaints are addressed. VRBO opened an incident and I never heard from the host.

The apartment is beautiful and absolutely looks just like the picture!! very clean with beautiful view of the river! It’s very cozy and the security makes you feel safe and the location is so convenient for nighttime being downtown by the river walk was great! The host was very helpful and quick response every time I had a question which I loved!! I could go on and on it’ll be very long but my partner and I loved it and had a great time and would definitely book again!!💙💙

Fourth of July Fabulous

My wife and I stayed at the host's place July the 3rd and the 4th of July. The views and the location were extraordinary. I almost hate to reveal this in case we decide to return next year, but the Wilmington fireworks display from the patio was one of the best, if not THE best vantage points for viewing! Had a wonderful time. A few concerns were addressed accordingly by the hosts, and they thanked us for our input.

Quick little stay right on the water

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip for a weightlifting competition. The place was great and had everything we needed. It was also really nice to have a designated parking spot. Would stay here again!

Fabulous location!

Clean & inviting with a gorgeous view of Cape Fear and stunning sunsets. Love the location, the river walk and being in the heart of restaurants, cafes and shopping. Corey was a hands on host giving us easy instructions and a message away if we needed anything. Oh, lot’s of towels and linens, a nice plus.We had a delightful stay.
