Our family had a wonderful time in Wilmington and staying in this historic home made it easy. Location and comfort says it all. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond. Thank you!
Place was in the perfect location for walking downtown. Bed was comfortable and plenty of room. Loved the coffee and snacks and water in the frig! Thank you!
Phenomenal experience. Had to come to Wilmington for work for three weeks and this place felt like home the entire stay. Beautiful historic house. Walkable to several restaurants. Very good communication from hosts. We will def stay here again the next time we come up.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the boardwalk made for nice evening strolls to dinner. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors made the stay peaceful.
Our stay here was amazing!! We were able to walk to my favorite coffee shop, Hidden Grounds. Enjoy the 70 degree weather at Wrightsville Beach for a day. Loved the mornings relaxing on the front porch. If you are traveling to Wilmington, I highly recommend staying at Going to Carolina!
Our group was 5 ladies all over the age of 75 who have been getting together for decades. We loved the house. It was convenient to walk to the water front with lots of wonderful restaurants. The beds are wonderful, the kitchen is well appointed, everything is great. It is a great place to stay.
We loved the comfortable beds, linens and complimentary coffee/creamers. The front porch was so charming. Kitchen was very well stocked with absolutely amazing cookware, sponge, dishwasher detergent, etc. Location was excellent; quiet and friendly. Parking was adequate on the street. Thank you so much for memorable stay!
Loved the atmosphere of the house. Old but with plenty of new appliances! Bathrooms were very clean! Beds were well made and clean! Lots of seating, nice quiet back porch for relaxing and watching squirrels play! Close to lots of restaurants and attractions! Quiet neighbors in a nice neighborhood!
GREAT location--felt like home! Loved the front porch and all of the houses along the street look family owned. Neighbors were friendly. House itself was perfect for our family to stay. Welcome basket of snacks, make-up towels, and visitor info binder were a nice touch. Walked a different way downtown each time to check out all of the adorable places along the way. Great restaurant, Castle Street Kitchen, around the corner--they even offered my daughter a job when she starts college in the fall!!! I hope we can stay here again when we come to visit her!!!
