The Keurig was blinking ‘Add Water’, and ‘Descale’. There were medium AND dark roast coffee pods. There was plenty of REAL sugar. (Plus the Fake Stuff) There was cow-made cream. (And the flavored hoopla)
And there was a roof, floor, and some more stuff.
It felt like Home.
Seriously it is a chic little urban-feel apartment within a beautiful 1800s shell, in almost-grand Victorian neighborhood. Which is two blocks from the end of the Riverwalk restaurants and festivities. Perfect distance.
Its quirky. There’s a third, middle room that has no job in life. The bathroom is miniscule (but I don’t have parties in there). To me, that was part of the charm of living within the constraints of the 1800s shell.
My extended family is in this area. I def intend to keep this apt on my short list.
