Pine Ridge is an excellent property with a prime location close to Whiteface. We will definitely be back. Plenty of thoughtful details all around the house.A complete kitchen with anything possibly needed, plenty of common spaces to relax and a games room with lots of options.Excellent.

Beautiful and cozy home and environment. Early mornings sitting in front of a fire place, late nights in a hot tub and outdoor firepit, rainy days sitting inside the screened in porch area- listening to the rain come down and playing board games, billiards table and secluded gaming area for the little ones/teenagers. My only negatives would be the grill needs to be deep scrubbed/grates replaced because its definitely seen its fair share of usage and making sure batteries to remotes are changed from time to time- minor fixes. Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing time; I would definitely book again.

Beautiful location. House was very nice. Floors were not the cleanest. Two sinks drained very slowly (Main floor bathroom between bedrooms) and one of the two sinks in the master bathroom. Also, the bathtub in the bathroom between the two main floor bedrooms drained EXTREMELY slowly so there was ankle deep water in the tub after only a couple of minutes. Aside from the plumbing issues, it was very nice. Loved the quiet area, nice cosy beds, firepit and gameroom were great. Kitchen was wonderful

My family and friends have stayed here twice now, and we feel so at home. Everything is immaculate and the owner is available for any questions we have had. The hiking is the best and the area is amazing for long walks. There is nothing I could want more for our annual vacation!

Amazing property, so much space and very quiet and rural. Near to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain so some decent activity options. We stayed in July and the flies outside made using the hot tub problematic but there was a dining area behind fly screens, just a warning if you are planning to make use of the outdoor space in the summer.

Amazing

We had a girl's weekend get together and this place is amazing! The main room is a grand open space that's super comfy with beautiful views. Loved the spacious bathrooms, inviting and cozy game room and just the whole layout of the house. The hot tub was a huge hit and was very accessible from the main living area.The flume and the flume trails were gorgeous and just a short walk from the house.A mile drive away and we were at Whiteface Ski Mountain and took the short trail into Stagbrook Falls.We would all stay here again in a heartbeat. Just loved it!

Great cabin in the woods

We went up to ski at White Face Mountain for a couple nights and this was the perfect place to stay. It is extremely cozy and very clean. We loved warming up in the hot tub and by the fireplace each night. We had kids with us that enjoyed playing pool and ping pong in the basement too.

Wonderful Lake Placid retreat

Our family gathered for a reunion and chose this beautiful house. It was big and comfy for everyone. The hot tub was a hit as were the pool table and ping pong table. The pool table does need new pool cues however, The dining room table sat all of us comfortably and we absolutely loved the heated garage as it snowed while we were there. We also love the area - beautiful scenery and lots to do!

Quiet Cabin by the River

Our family very much enjoyed our stay! The location was excellent and close to Whiteface, grocery stores and Lake Placid but still felt quiet and secluded. We loved hiking down to the river and Flume Falls. Very spacious and clean.

Fantastic location, home to match!

We absolutely loved our stay in Lake Placid. This house is just outside of Wilmington, some great hiking and swimming! One comment, knives are NOT sharp ;) though are advertised as so. But if that's my only complaint, you know it was a fabulous stay!

It was a short 15 minute trip to Lake Placid. The house was well maintained with ample room for 10 of us. There were plenty of toiletries, cookware, and other items. I would stay here again.

My wife and I absolutely loved the place. We stayed with our two young children and the property was perfect. Great location close to everything the high-peaks has to offer. Many things to do both inside and close by, including a nice hike very close to the property.

Great Eclipse Trip!

Adult friends joined together at this fabulous ski lodge less than 5 minutes from Whiteface to enjoy the total solar eclipse in April 2024. The house is well stocked with clearly marked features, hot tub in excellent working order, great game room downstairs, and comfortable beds. Would stay again!

Great location

We rented this cottage March 10-14 to ski at Whiteface mountain. The cottage is beautiful and large enough to accommodate 10 people. 14 would be a bit crowded. The location couldn’t have been better. You can see the slopes from the cottage and it’s a 4 minutes drive to the ski hill. The property is located in a secluded area in the woods which makes it very charming. Everything was perfect except the kitchen and floors were not very clean. Upon our arrival we had to clean kitchen cabinets, the fridge, floors, and carpets. At least, bathrooms were clean. The water in the hot tub was also dirty even if the water was changed before our arrival. With additionally cleaning (by us), we were able to use it in our 3rd night. Bring your own face clothes, dish clothes and towels for the hot tub. There is a washing machine, but it has a strong musty smell; we didn’t use it. There is a nice fireplace. Bring wood if you wish to have a fire. Game room was fun. Bring your own Ping Pong balls; the ones provided are too soft/cheap. Overall a great place, except don’t expect a 9.8/10 for cleanliness!

Amazing home in Wilmington

Driving up to this picturesque cabin in the woods we knew we made the right choice in renting this home! Communication with Gary was top notch! The home was spacious and airy with lovely Adirondack themed decor. Gorgeous views from every window! It had superb mattresses, pillows, linens and blankets!!! All light switches labeled-AMAZING! Heated garage with Bootwarmers-Need I say more!!!!! Overall we were THRILLED there were a few things that would have made it a five star stay… Very clean both inside and out but the washing machine had mold in the door and the detergent dispenser. Probably a result of people leaving the door closed (front loader machines need to remain open and be cleaned quite frequently). As a result our clothes smelled a bit moldy but we just rewashed when we got home. Kitchen was very well stocked except was missing sponges, dish towels, and measuring spoons. Also just one roll of paper towels. The bathrooms were super clean and spacious with TONS of linens, however only one extra roll of toilet paper. Incredible fireplace but no firewood. We bought all the missing items at Hannaford-NO BIG! One other suggestion that would make it top notch is to add a few hooks or a coat rack outside near the hot tub for towels. None of these cons are a reason not to rent this place. IT IS AWESOME and we cannot wait to go back. I just thought I would mention because they are super easy fixes that would make this a 5-Star review for sure!
