Easy check in, close to water, private potty area for the pet, comfortable and shady back area. Needed a sweeping of the spider webs in the porch area. Bed room needs some dark curtains as it was just like daylight at night. Other than that, this part of the creek is our favorite in the area that we do not share with anyone. See you next year!

Memorial Day stay

Nice little cabin by the creek. It was what we expected but one big draw back was very poor wifi. We were unable to watch TV in the evening, and I had trouble connecting for some work. I checked the download speeds one night and they were below 3Mbps. Even our phone calls were challenging because the cellular coverage was spotty (not their fault) but we couldn't count on the wifi. Of course part of the point of the trip is to get away from the electronic world but there is no excuse not to have decent wifi service for the times you need to connect.

The cabin was very nice. The only problem we had was the mini split heater didn’t work in the bedroom and heater in bathroom didn’t work either. (Temperatures outside dipped below freezing both nights we stayed). They came out to repair it, but it still didn’t work correctly the second night y came

Cute and Cozy!

The owners are very nice and quick to respond to texts, if you have any problems. The property itself is small, but there’s enough room for all your luggage and freely moving around. It’s not cramped at all! It’s a beautiful and quaint town that’s super convenient to get around (as there’s just one main road), and the creeks/trails are awesome. The only things I would precaution are to obviously wash all the dishes before you use them, shower early or late before the hot water runs out, and be aware there might be bugs. We had a beetle and some flies get in somewhere. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay!

Cabin was clean. Stay was very relaxing , everything you need was stocked in the cabin. Owners visited property very friendly, also concerned that all was good with our stay. Also very happy to go out of their way if anything was needed. Have stay here several times and will be returning soon.

Perfect stay making impromptu friends

My mother, son and I stayed here during the latter half of Spring Break. The cottage was right on the creek affording us the opportunity to watch my son make friends with neighbors from adjacent cottages and play in the water.

Overall okay

The place was well kept and clean. The location is in a perfect spot in Wimberley. The only reason I didn’t give this higher stars is due to the inaccurate listing of the number of beds. There is a queen bed, however, the other bed is NOT a twin pull out. It is anything but a twin. Maybe a futon-ish bed, but not a twin.

Great Getaway

Very cute cottage. Nicely decorated. The wall H/C system in the living room does not provide enough heat so the space heaters and firewood provided for the fireplace were a nice addition. You cant beat the view of the creek. Far enough for a quiet, relaxing stay and just a short drive to downtown to enjoy dining and shopping. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the summer!

Wimberley getaway

The home and community are adorable. Our cabin had an amazing view of the stream and trees. It was so quiet and peaceful. The only negative I had was that the mattress was not very comfortable and rolled to the middle.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Creekside cabins, The Getaway. The place was clean, cozy & very well organized for a small cabin. The furniture was comfortable and kitchen very usable for two people. The outdoor space is excellent for reading or socializing and proximity to the creek creates a big nature vibe. Everything was wonderful we will definitely be back!

This cottage had everything we needed. Awesome access to the nearby creek bed was a nice place to go out and wander (with our dog). We were also very close to downtown Wimberley, where we spent plenty of time on the restaurants and shops. This place helped us unwind and relax, which is exactly what we needed. Thank you!
