We booked this property for a family vacation & cancelled immediately upon arrival due to serious safety and suitability concerns that were not apparent from the listing.The stairs are extremely steep and narrow, like a ladder - you must descend backwards. While the listing mentions “narrow stairs” in one buried sentence, this dramatically understates the reality. For groups with small children, adults with limitations, or even average adults carrying luggage, this is a genuine safety risk.The parking situation is also very dangerous and not adequately represented. Parking is across the street on a curved, heavily trafficked road with vehicles traveling around 40 mph. Due to the bend, oncoming traffic is difficult to see, and there is no safe way to unload luggage or cross the street without significant risk. The owner claims it is not a busy road – it is. The interior is much smaller than the photos suggest. The pictures make the home appear far more open and spacious than it is. We had 7 people. There was not enough seating for a meal, let alone gathering comfortably. While the listing technically allows this number of occupants, the space is not realistically suited for more than two or three people.Because these issues were only discoverable in person, we left immediately without using or disturbing anything.
