Chula Vista as a whole was fine and the Chula Vista staff we interacted with were polite and helpful, but Vacasa the property management company was terrible to deal with and since the property is privately owned the Chula Vista staff can do nothing to help with issues such as broken items in the condo (chairs, door handles, soap dispensers, and outlets) lack of cleanliness, restocking toilet paper, or the fact that water park passes are not included in your stay and this is not disclosed at the time of booking. We had multiple broken items in the room, a huge wasp nest in the master bedroom window, dirty cups under beds, goop on the microwave handle, and what appeared to be a blood stain in one of the mattresses. We reported this immediately and were told it was reported to the onsite staff, but no one ever came to fix anything or offer a more thorough cleaning. We inquired about the water park passes and were told we had to purchase then separately, which would have been fine if we were told that at the time of booking, but since we were not and had not budgeted the additional $650 that it cost we had to cut other activities out of our trip to cover the unexpected expense. When we inquired about this issue we were told the condo was priced accordingly and there was nothing Vacasa or VRBO could do to help since the water park is owned by Chula Vista and they have no way to get us water park passes or a discount on them. Just know if you stay there, no one will bring more sup
