The communal areas, corridors etc were tired and tun down, washing bags left outside for long periods of time etc. The spa was very relaxing but very expensive compared to other spas. Overall it was an ok stay but wouldn't I return, perhaps not as think I could get more value for money elsewhere in the area

The room was spotless. No bar in the hotel but so we went over to the old Swan. The electric kept tripping which sent plumes of smoke from the fire into the pub. We were glad we didn’t order food as I don’t think we would have got it with the kitchen electrics going down. Lovely setting and grounds. The staff were lovely.

The bathroom was tired and although an overhead shower was provided there was no shower curtain which made it impossible to take a normal shower. Perfect quiet family getaway

We had an amazing stay at Minster Mill! The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating and made our stay especially enjoyable. We visited with our three young sons and they loved exploring the grounds and playing outside. It was a beautiful property and very welcoming to our family.

I accidently went to the Minster Mill hotel but, as they are opposite each other and are sister hotels, the receptionist found my booking and directed me. Be aware the road to the hotel is very narrow - but it is a one-way street and takes you back onto the road you left (like a crescent) when you leave.

We stayed in the garden suite as we had the dog with us. The room was ok but a bit tired. Bonus to have two bathrooms! Good and spacious and works for a family. Very frustrating though that there was no phone signal or WiFi available in the room and this wasn’t clear from the outset. And given the cost of the stay, would expect this to be better. Breakfast was mediocre and had to send back to be cooked better but was barely changed. Service was good in the restaurant. Reception staff not quite so good.
