We very much enjoyed our stay at The Harcourt Arms. On arrival we were shown to a much bigger room than we were expecting. Very comfortable bed. Nespresso machine and lovely tea bags in the room. Check the small print - for a 5* listed property only a 3 hour check-in window was offered without pre-arrangement. I occasionally stay in other hotels in the area without an issue as a night porter would usually be available to assist upon late arrivals - I find it concerning that no staff member would be available on-site overnight, or out of hours contact details would be provided. No answer on the listed phone number when called, no contact from the property prior to leaving for the evening, hard to follow up with any support from Hotels.com for a Platinum Member. Naturally, no problem with collecting monies from the Credit Card however!

The whole venue is simply amazing. Beautiful building, great atmosphere, very cosy with the multiple log fires. Our room (Blenheim suite) was absolutely stunning. There is nothing I would change about this place! Keep up the great work! We will definitely be back, next time we will eat dinner here (we only stayed here to visit Clarkson’s Farm and the Farmer’s Dog but were left underwhelmed with the food in the Farmer’s Dog).
