Perfect Family Beachside Stay with Toddler-Friendl

We recently enjoyed a 3-night family stay at Novotel Wollongong Northbeach with our 2-year-old and found it to be an excellent choice for families. The hotel’s location is superb, right across from North Wollongong beach, offering stunning ocean views from our room balcony which was very relaxing. The rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated with family-friendly amenities. The hotel features a heated outdoor pool, perfect for little ones to splash around safely, and a welcoming outdoor dining area where kids’ meals are wholesome and generously served. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially with family needs, and the buffet breakfast had a great variety that suited both adults and children. Overall, the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach offers a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay for families with young children, making it a top pick for a beachside family getaway

Great position with great staff.

Great position, 3 minute walk to beach and restaurants. Reception staff so helpful especially Trish. Room was great. Breakfast was included in our deal and of good quality. Only criticism the corridors look tired and could do with an overhaul.

Safety was good. Paid parking only is availablev at $35 per night which was not revealed at the booking. Had to wait for more than an hour to get the food after ordering at the Palisade restaurant. There was no sound proofing in the rooms and could hearcmoise ftom adjoining rooms.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall it was okay. However, I was a bit surprised that they didn’t provide bottled water in the room, and there were no basic toiletries like toothpaste and a toothbrush. Aside from that, the stay was fine and the room was clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel across from the beach

A beautiful hotel located right across from the beach. We had a great stay with family. The rooms were spacious and clean and were given beach views which was a bonus. The staff were all pleasant at both check in and checking out. Brrakfast buffet was great with a large selection of foods. Would definitely stay again!

We had a twin room city view but was given a room at the top floor with both city and water view😊. Spacious room and good selection of food on the buffer breakfast. Staff are really nice, The North. bar on the ground has great libe acousitc music which adds to the amazing ambience of the place.

The property boasts ‘sound proof’ rooms which is why we booked. Unfortunately it was definitely not sound proof and was located outside the local drag race intersection. Drag racing, burn outs and very loud engine noises that stopped about 3am. Not what was advertised and not fit for purpose
