This property was very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Beds were comfortable, house clean, and so cute! I would recommend this property and will be booking again next year!
Cabin was perfect; spacious, clean, well stocked. Would stay again if traveling back to that area. Bonus, got to see some elk a few miles from the cabin. Host was very quick with any responses.
The cabin was very clean and rustic, while modernly updated. Multiple beds made it convenient for the whole family to sleep comfortably. The back deck is the perfect place to drink your morning coffee. The location was private, but not too far from civilization.
Great wooded lot in Wolverine with nice fire pit and cozy living space. While we were there we were able to visit Traverse City, Petoskey, Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, and Rogers City all in a reasonable distance drive. Thereâs a nice farm to table restaurant right up the road and itâs close to Gaylord and Indian River. Really nicely located for natural resources too. Highly recommended!
I booked this house for a three day stay while participating in a trail riding event in the Wolverine area. Since we were away all day, our stay was limited to evenings only. It was neat and clean and worked well for our needs through the weekend.
This property was a perfect weekend getaway spot. It was just enough outside of town, but still easy to find. Everything was clean, and the fire pit was even set up for the first fire! The king bed was super comfy, and with the black-out curtains provided me amazing sleep every night. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time, host went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Could use A/C, and be careful on a motorcycle - its on a gravel road, but I highly recommend.
Stayed here for 3 nights with the intent to visit Mackinaw City and area. It was an easy drive to Mackinaw.
-My biggest thing when looking for places to stay is cleanliness and this place was very clean.
-The check-in instructions were straightforward and thorough making it easy.
-Beds and pillows were comfy
- the DVD player and DVDs available were nice for the evening times when we were not out by the fire pit
-rooms were spacious (we had an infant with us and had plenty of room around the pack n play)
-if you want a quiet place away from the hustle bustle. This is it. Quiet, secluded area. Off dirt roads. Surrounded by nature. There are even DNR Elk viewing areas nearby. Although we unfortunately didn't see any elk! We did see deer by the house!
The property is exactly what our family loves! Peacefulness in a secluded area. We were only 15 minutes away from our home away from home; Indian River! We had deer right out the back door in the morning while we drank coffee. We will be back!
Check-in was easy and overall the house was clean and organized. The only complaint we had was that the fans had to run at all times (it was hot, and no a/c). The fans were covered with dust. I removed the front of one of them and cleaned it off.
We stayed here expecting to travel to different areas up north, which this location allowed for us to do. But it is in the middle of nowhere. Not close grocery stores, parks, etc.
I would also say this house might not be suitable for children. Step downs between each room and a hot water heater right next to the toilet in the bathroom (also what made the house so hot) was not easy for beginning walkers or little hands.
Located in quiet woodsy area on non paved road. Had events to attend each day of five day stay. Cabin was spacious and comfortable. No TV or internet connection.
The cabin was the refectory size for the four of us. The only issue we had was it was very difficult to cool off the cabin. We were very warm even with all the fans going 24/7.
