On overall great property as food, staff and location were fantastic. However the accommodation offering needs to be reviewed. The room aesthetically was fine but the ability to relax and have a good nights sleep was what let the property badly down. The mattress was terrible and dipped on both sides so gave a very poor night's sleep. The allocated room "Gooseberry" whilst already carrying a warning for noise from the kitchen on the website was far worse than you could imagine. Kitchen fans that were like jet engines under you from 6pm until 9.30 made it impossible to relax and enjoy the room until they were shut off for the night. Im sure the other rooms were much better but this room really should not be used as accommodation. Its just not suitable.
Room was cold in arrival and took ages to warm. Food was amzing and the staff very attentive, great breakfast choices demonstrating lovely local products. Only downside was the banging door throughout the night, I'm guessing it was the firedoor that was being used as an exit but easy fix with a softer closer fitting otherwise really enjoyed our stay....oh and the Pear room is really nicely presented and new photos showing the rooms off would be a benefit.
Very well positioned for access to Worcester, Malvern, Ledbury etc.
All staff really friendly. Breakfast was fantastic in terms of quality quantity and choice. Had meal in restaurant one night which was excellent. Room was good size and decorated nicely. Wouldn't hesitate to return
OK ROOM but noisy canned rap music from Restaurant below was shock for Country Pub. Being told I had bar bill when only in bar to pick up key was irritating, bot whether careless bar staff or bad folk in other room, former applies both scenarios
Staff very helpful bags carried to our room.
The bathroom was very poorly lit had difficulty seeing though the mirror as lights were reflecting and casting shadows and there were no other mirrors in the room.
Disappointed that there wasnât a lift as my husband was disabled and needed his oxygen to get up stairs.
What an idyllic position, by the village pond complete with ducks and 5 duck houses. Staff very friendly and helpful. I found the lighting in my bedroom too dark to read my book but bed and bathroom perfect. Food helpings rather too big but delicious.
Stayed in a very cosy small twin. Mattress way to spongy for my liking. On the positive side staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent . Shame they stop serving food at 4pm on a Sunday so had to dine elsewhere.
This was our first stay here and will definitely be back when we next need to visit our friend. Doggy friendly Hacker had a lovely time. We were in Loganberry twin everything spotless. The room was hot but we are in a heat wave and they provide a fan which we made full use of! Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. The beds were super comfortable our two night stay was excellent -see you again The Swan!
