Iâll give this accomodation a solid 4.5 stars. Itâs a beautiful hidden spot at Yankalilla and TJ is a very nice host. The toilet is not the best but TJ is working on building a new one (Is what I assume). We felt refreshed after our two nights stay here and will surely visit again.
PS: the farm animals were a bonus to the stay :)
We loved this experience for some downtime in the school holidays. The girls loved the dome and roasting marshmallows. Bring your own water but otherwise a fun night away!
We stayed in the dome for a night. Roasted marshmallows at night followed by a bbq dinner. In the morning we met the animals and kids enjoyed the playground. Drove to Normanville for lunch- great weekend!
The potable onsite toilet was informed at late notice as not working and we were given an alt location to use; however it was a bit of a walk after dark.
The Dome itself was nice. Millie, the dog, was very lovely with occasional visits the camp spot, the farm animals was all part of our good glamping experience so we enjoyed it quite much actually. The ownerâs responses were all prompt when we contacted and we appreciated his response. :)
Very dissapointed with our stay.
This was our second stay in the last 13 mths and thought we would give it a go after having a first time negative experience.
Second time round more negative experiences and basically told if we dont like it we were told
We can leave. Not that easy when We had spent $300 for a babysitter for our childeen to be looked after.
Not to mention the grass needs to be mowed , its ankle high. Now with the warm weather , likey to be snakes in that grass that you wouldnt be abke to see because the length of the grass.
We thiroughly enjoyed the peaceful getaway and the host was very accomodating. The cottage was clean and comfortable surrounded by the wonderful medicine of nature.
Beautiful grounds and scenery, lots of privacy, and many things to explore. We had an unreal night going on little adventures, watching the sunset while kangaroos box on, a barbeque and a fire and our favourite - seeing our alpaca friends!
Very clean, beautiful nature.
You will enjoy the little getaway from technology in this farm.
Very friendly and kind host, they prepared amazing treat for us.
We really enjoyed our stay.
You cant see outside of the dome while inside due to the filth on the windows. Only got a 1/4 of a roll of tp but they did have a phone number there with instructions to call if you needed more.
There was a nice loaf of bread, bottle of wine and lots of other goodies there which
was really nice as well as some nice drinking water. The bed and the furnishings where great but a empty shelf to put a few items woulda been awesome. Over all I didnt mind that there was little things like mould on the curtins but the price should have reflected all that but def need to clean the windows
This was an amazing place to stay with a good view and great accommodation. We enjoyed sitting by the fire with a bottle of wine and some cheese. What a great way to get away from it all.
