Not Senior friendly Bath-tubs. Hard to manage water flow in tubs. Hard to get in and out of tubs when showering. Rooms are antique and charming, but too small for four people. Floors creak and make noise. Way over-priced for rooms. But no charge for parking.
There was an electricity black-out at the second night, and we were not able to dine at the Dining Room. I guess this was a rare event but we did not like it. Other than this blackout, everything was good and we liked this hotel very much
Tons of little extra touches! Bear shaped soap along with stuffed Buffalo in the room, lots of eco recycling options. Room key was wood. Water in the room was in metal cans so no plastics. Just a bunch of extra little touches. We had a fantastic chat around the campfire with smores. The staff that was managing that area was very knowledgeable and a joy to chat with. Everyone we interacted with on staff was truly happy to be there.
Cannot recommend this place enough. Great stay. We had bull elk and female elk right there at the property during our stay. They roam the property and made our experience so much better. Restaurant had a lot of options. Food was delicious. Breakfast was great
We knew it would be small when we booked the cabin, but we had to use one of the beds for luggage and belongings. We requested daily housekeeping, but didnât get it any of the three days we were there. The room was very dusty. I wish we had spent the extra money to stay in the hotel.
There was no bathroom in rooms. I wasn't aware of this. Middle of the night walks to get to a bathroom.
LOVED the elks in the parking lot in the morning!!! One of my highlights!!!!
