Just ok paid for a room with a view but view was of the side of a building I also think that after booking two upgrade rooms then charging £25 per person for breakfast is cheeky to say the least

We love this hotel and staying here made our trip to York perfect. We have stayed in many hotels and although modern, fulfils expectations. It is conveniently located, just a short walk into the town. Cannot comment on the food as we did not eat here but the bar is great and the rooms are lovely. The gym is well-equipped and has air con. Thank you for a lovely stay. I must add, I the rooms have the most comfortable beds with remarkable bedding. The pillows and duvet are amazing. I’d love to know where they bought them from.

A nice hotel in a great position. The room facilities were ok, not as good as I would have hoped for in a hotel of this quality. Poor selection of toiletries and the lighting in the room was odd. Breakfast and bar service was very good though I’m not sure why the mocktails are not included in the happy hour pricing!

Excellent place to stay with just a short walk over the bridge into town. We had a comfortable, clean room check in was quick and easy. We didn't use the bar but did book breakfast which was excellent. It is a bit pricey but the service was brilliant and there was a wide selection of food.

We stayed here for one night to enjoy the races. The room was very well priced compared to others in the town. It is close to the train station so it is easy to jump on the race course buses. The room was really well presented, clean and spacious. Great facilities in the room with coffee machine, robes, ironing board etc and the shower was lovely and hot and powerful. We did enjoy a couple of drinks up on the roof bar and some sushi, but we didn’t stay for breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.
