Very loud neighbors until midnight. Tents are way too close together. Bathrooms need to be clean more often. All tents need an outlet to charge your phone. Cell reception is extremely poor.

The heater in our supposedly heated tent wasn’t working at 10 pm in the night & the front desk person casually asked us to wait for 30 minutes as it takes some time to warm up. We had the most uncomfortable , freezing night we ever experienced as we weren’t equipped to handle that chill.
That apart, the facility is clean, specially the restrooms & shower facilities, good food options, super convenient location. Parking is a hassle.

Stayed in tent cabins for Easter weekend. Restroom facilities were not cleaned often or thoroughly. Sinks, surfaces, floors were obviously not cleaned for a few days even though they have a sign saying that cleaning is done twice a day. WiFi offered does not cover tent cabin area. Food vendor is overwhelmed. Need more staff and capabilities.
You can’t get a better location than Camp Curry when visiting Yosemite. And the camping experience is fun! Just a few tips…
- some of the cabins are heated but on cold nights you still need to dress warm and bring sleeping bags. When we fell asleep our cabin was toasty so we put the sleeping bags back in the car at that was a mistake.
- the line for Peets is long, but they have drip coffee at the food court area too. Don’t plan on getting a latte… you’ll be waiting a while.
- You can now order ahead for the pizza bar, though we ended up having dinner in Mariposa before heading into the park.
- A white noise machine is a must. There are a lot of inconsiderate people who do not follow quiet hours rules. Also, if your cabin is close to a restroom you’ll have more noise issues so definitely bring the white noise machine.
- if you have a collapsible wagon, I highly recommend bringing one so you’re not taking multiple trips from your car to your cabin. The parking isn’t super far, but if you’re bringing stuff for yourself and kids, making multiple trips is annoying.
- bring folding camping chairs if you want to have snacks at your cabin, we ate right outside because food is not allowed in cabins due to wildlife (bears, rodents)
Great camp site that is very well located with all the basic amenities nearby. Comfortable beds.

Great view and great services. But we getting there during snow storms in April and our tent doesn’t have heaters and electricity. If not about this i gave 100.
My family had the best time staying at Curry Village! Going to bed with the Sierras and stars surrounding us and then waking up to a quiet hike in the woods was heaven. Be prepared though it’s limiting what you can do at your cabin - no food, no fires and it can feel like you’re packed in like sardines but for the price and convenience of staying in the valley it’s well worth it!
It’s good for people who like the experience of camping but also prefer a more comfortable option: the dining options were limited especially for vegetarians.
