Room was very nice as advertised. Check-in and all staff, including the maids and wait staff, were very nice, courteous and helpful. But I have some issues with the Lodge that are (1) if you have a room in the back section of the property, the only access is through two parking lots. There are no sidewalks to take from the reception to the rooms in the rear. This left us with an unwelcoming feeling notwithstanding the courteous staff; (2) there is virtually no lighting in the parking lots where you have to walk or when your parking and very little lighting in the stairwells to the second floor and in the courtyard near the pool area. So the physical layout of the property and lack of lighting leaves a cold feeling about the experience.
