This hotel is like a motel in the 60âs and old with wall air conditioning. The price was pretty high for this room, but there doesnât seem to be many choice around, so we only stay for one night.
This facility is an older building that has been relatively well maintained. All appliances functioned although the refrigerator was old and ran continuously. City water has a mild sulpher taste and guests are offered bottled water for drinking. We didn't try the morning breakfast, but went to a really nice coffee shop a block away. Bed was comfortable and there were bedside tables with reading lamps. For a small, rural town, this is a decent place to stay.
Not a good experience, we were first given marijuana smelling room and then when requested a different room was given, mostly there is noone at the reception
Just stayed one night after a memorial service for a friend. Room was clean and quiet after the people arriving ended. Nice receptionist and a very reasonable place to stay if you wanted to visit Colusa. Apparently, hunters and fishermen want to visit Colusa. Served good hot coffee in the morning along with pastries.
Quiet, clean, right down to the corners of tje bathroom. No dust. No cobwebs. Comfortable mattress. There was an abundant collection of succulents on the premises. Vintage furniture was simple but in excellent condition. Reminded me my of my grandmotherâs house. Bottled water was offered; the city water smells sulforous.
I felt at home and look forward to returning.
