Excellent option. Very close to tram and main railway stations and lits of places to eat. Reasonably quiet. Room basic but spotlessly clean. Comfy bed, nice duvet although only one pillow per person. Decent shower in fair sized bathroom. Good WiFi. Fridge, microwave and coffee machine available. Nice continental breakfast although more variety would improve it. Very definitely a two star hotel but it is still good value for money by Zurich standards. Would happily stay here again.

We loved this place. The room was clean. And the staff were all so very friendly. It is a few streets from the river so very easily accessible to shopping and dining. Walkable from the HB station. Only downside was the noise from the street behind the room. It is a very popular street and had a lot of road noise throughout the night. However you should expect such things when staying downtown. We would for sure stay here again, and use the earplugs they kindly provide for each room.

This is a staff that knows what hospitality means, with a strong social mission that goes beyond recycling and (excellent, with cheese and egg) vegetarian breakfast. The hotel is located a short walk from the main train station in what seems to be a busy and safe area. Multiple tram and bus lines are adjacent. Rooms are clean and modern, but not luxurious (e.g., no TV). Even the "small" room the staff apologized for giving me would be more than adequate by Rome or Paris standards.

Very good compare to star rating, clean proper and like central coffee and water filing station, has lift access, behind main road so may get confusing but overall easy access to central station, easy tram access. Clean near to road can hear bit noise in night but if close door may not hear. Evening lady staff was very friendly I asked many question and she patiently answered. She was very helping and allowed efficiently manage. She was more efficient and helping then morning staff.

The staff were very helpful on reception. A no frills, but clean hotel for a decent price in a very good location (everywhere is easily walkable). I felt safe as a solo traveller, but would also say that the rooms could do with an extra locking mechanism (even just a sliding bolt) to increase this factor.
